I'm not the one injecting negativity every time the site comes up. I like to participate and have a barrel of fun. You're the one shitting on the site. It's pretty cut and dried.

Focus on barrels of fun if you like. I prefer reality. The reality is, a site that keeps going offline is typically having issues. More has been said about what's really going on, but I don't want to overwhelm you with too much negativity at one time.

I'm not the one trying to get the site shut down and drive off the users. I participate and post stuff all the time. Saidit is cool.

I'm not either, though we could argue all day about how you present content and whether it's alienating.

The drama a couple months ago was to expose some of the flaws in M7's social management. The target was never SaidIt nor the community. Because of that it we had motivation and momentum to build alternatives to decentralize. I'd love to tell you everything is fine on that front but I have no clue what's going on and I don't have the technical skills to do it myself. Most SaidIt folks are lazy. The group who wants to help is like a herd of cats. At least I now have a wiki and eventually I'll be able to share it when presentable and perhaps folks will understand some of the decentralization goals and pitch in.

Actually, I would be the primary account if there were alts involved, as I was one of the first few users on the site. It was antiextremes back then, and it was often just a handful of us.

I don't need an alt to demoralize - I just point to people, systems, and actions that are unfair, secretive, unaccountable, inconsistent, and deceptive, intentionally or not.

I should have said "people, systems, and actions of authority". All structures of power are fair game.
