From one person voluntarily leaving because they were held accountable for repeated open rule breaking? Doubtful

What community? It's just a website.
It blows my mind just how seriously some of you people take it. Like, don't you have anything else to do?
The site is better off without shit-stirring jerks. Saidit will never become a real reddit replacement if new users come in to a website they've heard about but never visited, see vomit all over the place, and CTRL-F4, never to come again. I know I've done that a few times.

It is sort of a community, or a community that has several substructures of communities. Any place where people share information that they might be passionate about could be considered that way. You've got generations of people now that have primarily developed their relationships with others this way, due to whatever personal circumstances they have going on. Is it smart to develop relationships where comments can be upvoted or downvoted? Likely not, since people may have tendencies towards making a psychological reward system out of it or might even derive some level of self esteem from it. It happens though.
When the same users interact with one another on a daily basis, that can provide the basis for potential friendships.

You know a synonym for "shit stirring"?
TALKING ABOUT CONTROVERSIAL SUBJECTS.
You know what else?
THAT IS WHAT SAIDIT IS FOR.
