You're both doing the same thing in that thread.

I think a valid solution would be adding more admins of parties than the current one. The issue here is that M7 feels his childish arguing is uniquely justified because it's his own. So do you, but you're not an admin so that's irrelevant. This is natural in humans as it's nearly impossible to see the bad in yourself. If there were more than one team and divisions of powers to keep a watch on these issues I think it would become more fair.

I can certainly admit that looking back over those threads that I really should have walked away from arguing with the brick wall sooner as much of our bickering was tedious. I should know by now that his secrecy, need to not delegate, apparent power lust, and likely his ego are shit at having critical thoughts and discussions that matter regarding the future of SaidIt. Ironic.

Are you suggesting a just and fair social management system for SaidIt? M7 will never go for that.

Not just M7, but nearly 100% of human beings. There is a primal desire to appeal to authority and/or want to have as much authority as possible for yourself. You are no different, and I bet I'm worse than I realize too. That's why there needs to be divisions of power from the beginning. Unfortunately you have to be pretty redpilled and see a lot in life to understand that, and most people don't and assume they're always right. And of the few who do, almost everyone else won't take them seriously and regularly goes as far as calling them things like "schizo". notabug.io is the only site so far that has implemented a truly fair system, and for this reason hardly anyone uses it. Most people need leaders to idolize and a power structure that gives it an identity, otherwise they'll think it's stupid. Even those who deny this, often still seek it, just in the form of popularity instead of forceful power. This is why we also copy celebrities and people who become popular in a group for no real reason.

I had admin power on a forum once. I fucked up. At the time, thought I was doing totally the right thing, but in reality I was a domineering control freak. I see it now in admins everywhere. One reason why I think admin accounts need to be anonymous, so there is no ego / personality / presentation to get rolled into the mix. Just a lit of rules. no debate, no arguments. try to stay as neutral as possible, and retreat to admin groups to discuss issues raised, but always from the position of "i'm probably wrong"
