Bruh lmao, I did. And no we did not, we stayed in our lane on our Sub that was banned from /s/all (which we agreed to right away as we were appreciative of m7 hosting us here, as well as upheld all of SaidIt’s rules when outside of our island sub. Our sub wasn’t asked to be removed from /s/all due to saying “nigger” or acting like edgy children, it was because all of our posts were over taking the front page due to our userbase size and the amount of upvotes), we even donated a good amount of money to this site unlike its regular users and in our large sub, would sticky posts called “money drives” to raise money for SaidIt. Servers have been upgraded because of our help. We also brought in a nice portion of traffic and new users; we just watched and laughed at stupid streamers, similar to lolcow or kiwifarms.

I’m one of the last IP2 members left here, you want good/old users to really leave SaidIt don’t you, cuz I’m ready 2? You should think really carefully about your words before you insult others and comment on things you aren’t fully aware of/were not apart of, being an Admin, especially when you intend to use them as insults. There’s a reason m7 let us stay, and we left peacefully and understood m7’s reasons. I stayed for SaidIt, but boi is it going to shite.

I’m glad you said that cuz now I agree with Bobby (and I hardly ever agree with him). You’re another immature admin who goes tit for tat, power trips, and doesn’t know how to “stay above regular users” and ignore bullshit.

no more tit-for-tat, you’re above regular users now and have more responsibility. You gotta act the part and be professional, you’re representing SaidIt. You can’t take things personally. It only creates and makes the drama worse.

You don’t have to listen to me of course, but I truly hope you grow into your position and help steer SaidIt in the right direction. I hope you fall into your spot as an Admin with grace and humility, and I honestly sincerely & genuinely mean that!

I hope the front page gets better, I hope to see less of the bullshit and for us to go back to the conversations and fun we were having 6+ months ago. And I really hope I don't see Admins lowering themselves to the same level (or lower) as the users attacking them. Really, when an Admin starts flexing that sucks just as much as the spam.

/u/d3rr, imho you’re the most rational and the last member of the team I find approachable on SaidIt staff. Can you please speak to the rest of the team about them being above and acting more mature than regular users, having more responsibility, not inciting more drama by attempting to insult one and insulting another or more, and lastly, going tit for tat with other users?

I just got hit in cross-fire because an admin was trying to insult someone else (and tbh, I don’t agree with Bobby very often.. but I feel this comment thread is a perfect example of the tit for tat attitude admins here have that need to disappear).

Thanks for the vote of confidence man but I quit admining a while back. Admins should be held to a higher standard, and the tit for tat stuff is toxic. Policy and code is too much for me, so I wash my hands of all policy shit.

I remember that, but you’re still a respected part of the team, m7 would lend you his earn concerning this wouldn’t he? And asking your admins to act professional, not go tit for tat/bite bait/sink down to a user’s level and actually try to insult them, isn’t that much of an ask and would go a long way.

I donno, this admin slandered IP2 but I feel like m7 is desperate for admin help for combating the spam problem. If I'm gonna stir up the drama I need a really solid case. I spent 2 years of my life trying to steer site policy, all I did was make everyone and myself miserable.

I think I'm doing okay, thanks. Being on saidit at 3:25am might say otherwise.

I just wanna say, this has nothing to do with him slandering IP2; it has to do with the constant tit for tat behavior among admins with users - if a user attacks one admin and sinks to a low level, the admin will attack back and sink just as low when they’re supposed to be holding the ship together and acting professional.

If they feel so negatively about this user and their comment(s), (unless it’s to help them as they should or remove the comments that violate our rules, professionally as an admin), why are they not ignoring comments instead of going tit for tat and sinking to low levels? Levels even I wouldn’t sink to?

That’s the problem. Not slandering IP2, fk that, my feefees are fine. It’s the toxic tit for tat behavior that’s been going on non-stop for the past month that creates more drama than it solves & the og problem itself.

This was just an example of it; I’m the IP2 user, but he was attempting to use it to attack bob because he thought bob was from the community originally, and I don’t agree with bob often either. I got hit in the crossfire despite not being involved in the convo, admins have been behaving this way for a month now, who else will get hit in crossfire and what other drama will actually arise at the hand of our admins/pr? I hope others realize that too if they read this.
