I think the majority of users here agree we don't want hitler memes spread across the front page every day.

With the site as it is, it is being dealt with by removal of the user and their content.

Someone spams porn or whatever, we don't want to leave it up to make sure it was justified. I understand your idea for making it a NSFW type thing, but I don't think that works when you're dealing with actions that are intended to undermine the site.

The way I see it is that Saidit is like a house that magnora and d3rr built. We here that use the site are their guests. It has been them that have taken responsibility for the site and it's maintenance including making the site resistant to technological attacks and the removal of crap content and users. Without the creation and maintenance of this site, this community would not exist.

I keep coming back here because it's not a clusterfuck like big social media sites and there are people here (including yourself), that have open minds and post content that I find intriguing and might not see somewhere else.

I don't agree with every decision magnora has made over the last few years, but I believe it was his decision to make. I think this site has not devolved into a reddit or a voat thanks to his efforts. I have stated some of my reservations to him, and I think you've made yours. Ultimately, just because you feel passionate about an issue, doesn't make it right or wrong, nor does it mean magnora has to take action on it.

I agree with Node that maybe taking a step back would be a good thing for you both.

:)

Agreedl. It's also very easy to say "You're doing it wrong" from the back seat.

I don't necessarily agree with everything M7 does or his methods, but I trust he honestly believes he is doing things the best possible way for a site he has built. Only the admins have the information that they have, so in the end, only they can know what is the best way to do things.

What if "THE VERY BEST" method of doing things requires that M7 work on the site 27 hours a day, every single day? I can imagine scenarios where the need for shortcuts is very real and in the end, we should all acknowledge that what we DO NOT KNOW about the intricacies of running this site and that makes us imperfect judges of the performance of the admins.

M7s choice of admins has been sketchy as hell. tam and frb both slipped into power tripping really fast

I agree. I thought maybe he knew them beforehand. If not, then... WHOA.
