      His father just passed like a week and a half ago dude.. Not in the best way either.. it was on the front page. He said he wasn’t on good terms with his father, but still, you know that stings and leaves a lot of “what if’s” or “could have beens”

      Are you referring to my comment? I deleted it. I probably should not share personal information. It happened at the start of February, and I discussed it briefly with Jason at the time.

      Nah, mine. And I’m friendly with Jason, we’ve spoke for over a year now in public and private messages (of course this is no excuse for me to air out his private business). However he made that thread announcing his fathers passing along with their relationship in detail, and it was near if not the top of the front page of SaidIt (someone could still find it if they wanted to); he made it public himself so I’m not afraid of overstepping when I say that event could explain his recent behavior. I know it’d put me in a bad place.

      I would be emotional too if I were in his position. I wouldn’t have brought it up if you didn’t ask, but since you did, it does make sense when you think about it. Even if it was six months ago (which it wasn't for those reading who missed the post), you know it hurts and even if I don’t agree with what Jason may have done by posting this thread, I can understand why and how pain could be clouding his judgement and making him emotional.

      Edit: meant 2 update this yesterday but somehow forgot. the comments are both now back and right above these comments, somehow. Maybe it was a bug since threads are getting long in here, or maybe an admin legitimately accidentally removed them which is honestly easy to do.

      Both my comment and another users were gone for over an hour, and I ctrl + f’d and triple checked. They came back last night tho.

      Oh yes - don't get me wrong. I complete agree with everything you've posted in this thread. Jason and I've discussed various issues almost daily for months, and though he very much disagrees with me on many things, and can be quite annoyed with me, I (and perhaps others) also try to appreciate that he's probably been dealing with very difficult issues this past 2 - 3 months, if not longer. Whereas he's made this public, I will sometimes delete my posts, as I am sometimes not sure what I should say in this forum. I noted in one of my other posts that I had seen a pattern that got progressively worse in the past 2 or 3 weeks. But this is none of my business. I think many of us wish him well, and I hope he appreciates this (as I suspect he's not happy about the suspension).

      This is M7's site. He did NOT build it alone. It's OUR forum.

      It's a little weird that so many bow down to his "authority" because he owns the domain, regardless of his leadership's pros and cons.

      No he didn't build it alone. And he doesn't create the content people come here to see. But he does own the fucking site. And honesty, he puts up with a lot more dissent than you're going to find anywhere else.

      Same shit he always writes: "Magnora7 is picking on me, he doesn't listen my reforms, he singles me out for punishment, things aren't transparent." Paraphrased and perhaps not totally accurate but that's the gist I got.

      He was a little ruder this time than usual. It turned a number of people, including myself, away from being sympathetic to his arguments.

      I get kinda assholeish when I drink too sometimes.
