I dunno. He seems irked by your suggestions but I disagree with the accusations he's levelled against you. I don't understand his reluctance and lack of receptivity to your ideas/feedback while he'd rather defame you on this forum with frivolous claims or minor violations(It's somewhat petty). I guess he's annoyed with the triple(quadruple?) postings. But saying you're encouraging trolls and shills by taking a non-censorship approach to comments posted is a bit of a stretch.

It is a double-edged sword; it's not free speech when comments get deleted but paradoxically some "speech" could bring unwanted attention which I assume M7 has concerns about. I'd say let sleeping dogs lie. There aren't many alternatives right now and starting your own platform would be a bit of an undertaking. Not impossible though but you'd need coders, a "neutral" web host and some money.

Anyway, that's my two cents. Feel free to pick it up and flick it on my forehead.

I don't understand his reluctance either.

I agree the cross-posting are annoying, but here is why I've done it, and I've significantly decreased them, but the LXXX/MoronLeft have exacerbated the issue with their artificial troll voting, as we all know.

It's not just a stretch - M7 is outright lying.

I'd say let sleeping dogs lie.

Sage advice, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he can quit stalking me too. I have one more final meme and several other long posts with ideas and projects, but maybe those idea posts can come after my personal open paradigm shift.

Maybe.

Or it may be time to start /s/DecentralizingForDumm or /s/Decentralizin4Dummies to openly document my own process of making home indie-server(s) with Lemmy, PeerTube, IPFS, MediaWiki, and web store instances and encourage everyone else to participate similarly. My Lemmy forum and SaidIt's API could mirror/sync/backup/whatever you call it. Decentralizing is the future resistances against tyranny.

I have other projects in mind too. Because I can't do it all, I'll present all of them, and the people can help decide my destiny for a while.

Thanks for the feedback.
