Some people keep baseball bats by the door, I keep the sword, hidden in a tall pot of dried plants halfway between the bedroom and the door. It's not that you'd ever have to use it, God forbid, imagine the mess on the carpet! But I assume simply the sight of it gleaming in their face would be enough to end a home invasion. The thing with any weapon though is you have to be proficient at it's use I think, that translates into resolve when you actually need it.

My dream would be to practice in a banana plantation, but that wouldn't go over too well with the farmers would it.

Spooky! Just as well he couldn't get to it hey. I slept walked once into this girls bedroom while her BF was away and sat on the end of the bed staring at her dresser. When I came to she asked what I was doing, I said I hadn't a clue? Then she told me that they had an big glass ashtray on that dresser and some weeks before they had awoken to a weird noise, the ashtray had just split in to 3 equal pieces, right there up on the dresser. I never sleep walked again, to my knowledge. Some weird shit happens in life hey.

That would be a nice way to wake up :) But two people in a bed, pretty hard to go against millennia of instincts, especially in sleep I suppose. It's the mad dreams that amaze me, I dream every sleep and wake up with vivid images. One minute you're driving a formula one car through the mountains and then it turns into a pedal car in a newsagent. mad dreams!!!
