The floodgates opened for me to tell it like I see it. But that's because I knew people who I found out have played nicey-nice for years in my life, then the quarantine started and for some reason a bunch of them felt entitled to get nasty (told me they were glad I lost my non-public job to save them when I stated that I was pissed about that, then despite that you can't go anywhere without a mask in my state they were almost daily posting about how you're a stupid asshole if you don't LOVE wearing them). This was a sort of betrayal to me. I also was raised in a super controlling household, most of these idiots knew this, and for them to turn around and start talking like they were my mommies and had the authority to tell me what to do in order to cater to THEM just caused me to blow up completely.

I went on a roll for a while there. Every single day I posted multiple posts on my social media about how much they love and want authoritarianism, how most of them are cruel and hateful, reminding them how hard it had been for me to find that job, how little that job put ANYBODY working at it or the public in harm's way and how stupid it was for their political side to force me to lose it permanently. I called them out on controlling behaviors every single time any of them dared to post about masks. When BLM crap popped up, every single time, I posted reminding them of the criminal scum their precious martyr George Floyd was, among other things.

My thing has become, if I have to hear about this crap and it has negatively affected my life in some way, then THEY HAVE to hear my side whether they like it or not, because they are eating up my time and trying to eat up my headspace with it. Fuck that. I'm done. For me it's not about getting my friends and acquaintances to grow up, it's about them leaving me the hell alone about things I either don't even care about, or which they aren't entitled to screaming at me about to begin with.
