It's the forces (competitors and agitators) that want to shape the dialogue (a la reddit and other big MSM) that are poisoning the well to stop competiton from rising up. Same thing happened / is happening with Voat. If you allow the site to be filled with low-quality fluff, racist and other bullcrap then people stop going to "that toxic site". People should be reporting blatant racist and anti-semitic postings and users immediately and then letting the moderators (who are hopefully competent) remove bad faith posts and arguments as outlined with the Pyramid of Debate.

If you want Saidit to succeed moderate judiciously or have your site devolve into a trash heap.
