I think a shorter list would be what non-lazy habits do I have.

The fact you have instantly suggested a less-taxing alternative to the question tells me this is probably true.

TO SAVE TIME, I GO POO IN MY PANTS, NO MATTER WHERE I AM AT.

IN THE WINTER TIME, IT KEEPS ME WARM AND COZY.

Reuse the same mug without washing it properly for a while. Just rinse it a little with hot water, or boiling water out of the jug.

I clean my coffee mug by filling it with hot coffee.

That's not lazy.

That's saving the environment.

Same, I'll use my mug for the whole work week until I wash it. I keep telling myself that it's not a problem since I only drink black coffee out of it, not sure how true that is though.

Sometimes I have tea and milk...still healthy so winning.

My other lazy habit is roasting or slow cooking. It results in home cooked meals with very few items to clean, and hardly any effort for a decent amount of delicious food and plenty of leftovers.

If I may go one extra level of laziness: I've bought a load of 'liner bags' for my slow cooker so it doesn't need to be washed afterwards.

[–]runtis 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

what!?! TIL I can get liner bags for my slow cooker!

[–]wuzizname 8 insightful - 6 fun8 insightful - 5 fun9 insightful - 6 fun -  (5 children)

Lol I can one up you I just eat out of the pot or pan I cooked the food in.

[–]JFVG[S] 8 insightful - 6 fun8 insightful - 5 fun9 insightful - 6 fun -  (1 child)

You're making quite the assumption that I actually cook anything!

[–]wuzizname 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Learning to cook is actually really satisfying and costs a lot less. I’ve gotten to the point where I prefer what I cook to a lot of what they serve in restaurants.

Mac & Cheese tastes best eaten straight out of the pot using the big wooden spoon you stirred it with.

Same here, plating food is just stupid

[–]runtis 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

sometimes I do this too

[–]MakeAOCBartendAgain 8 insightful - 5 fun8 insightful - 4 fun9 insightful - 5 fun -  (5 children)

I don't wear underwear & re-wear clothing all the time to cut down on having to do fucking laundry.

[–]StBlops2cel_is_Lord 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Same here, I wear the same pants for 2 weeks, and tshirt for 4-5 days...nobody cares.

[–]runtis 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

doesn't not wearing underwear facilitate in needing to do more laundry (cause your clothes touched your genitals)?

Who's gonna know?

You have to remember that most people on here have migrated from reddit where men don't wipe their arses because they think it will make them gay.

I start an in-depth productive hobby like gardening or building something and then have my kids take care of the upkeep.

[–]FuriousPenguin 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I just make one-pot-meals whenever I can. It's a little boring after a while but hey, less dishes.

[–]StBlops2cel_is_Lord 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I don't use dishwashing liquid, cuz it takes too long to rinse. I'm also never sick, so, go figger.

[–]x0x7 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I once had a batch of work clothes I needed to wash. I put them in at the hot setting, speed wash. Then I realized I didn't put soap in. Oh no. The clothes came out fine and I didn't end up smelling. And they were pretty rank clothes going in.

For some reason I still use soap even though I've seen that if you have a load that can go in on hot, you kinda don't need it.

[–]StBlops2cel_is_Lord 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Another helpful hint: dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent are interchangeable. I have done it both ways.

[–]Raavan 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Figger

I love this word. It's like a combo of the two 'evil words' if you know what I mean 😂

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The opposite of what most people advise: I find it more efficient to do the washing up and tidying the house in one 2 hour blitz at the end of the week rather than spending 30 minutes every day keeping everything clean and spotless. ymmv.

I keep all of my professional notes in a form of extreme shorthand I've evolved over the years. I rarely miss details, but If I got hit by a bus lots of people would be screwed.

[–]WMT 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I stand over the sink when I eat my lunch so I don't have to put anything under it

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

how do you heat up the food? on the paper plate too?

[–]JFVG[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

This is exclusively a cold-meal thing. Usually a sandwich and some crisps, that sort of thing. Maybe some crackers and cheese perhaps.

[–]jet199 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Ok, you are actually putting in too much effort. You could just hold that stuff. Or you could use the crisp packet as the plate for the sandwich.

[–]JFVG[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

If I hold it, stuff falls out, and then I have to tidy it up. It's a little bit of effort to save more effort later.

Saying that, I did eat a load of biscuits over the sink yesterday to get around this issue.

[–]Tarrock 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I always eat my lunch off of a paper plate so I don't have to wash anything afterwards.

[–]Nwabudike_Morgan 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Use a plate? I just eat out of the pan over the sink.

[–]smokratez 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I eat raw beef, so that I don't have to cook it.
