It's in Australia too. Not sure it's partisan, moreso that the baby boomer generation is a unique brand of stubborn.

true yeah I think it is similar to wearing seatbelts or not smoking in bars. Those had pushbacks at first too.

If you've spent your whole life not changing your life because of something like the flu, then you're not going to be interested in changing your life due to something else that is just as risky.
