No, all done with Reddit. Account deleted, and never going back. I prefer to focus here on Saidit, as this site will succeed only if there's regular conversation. We can't see Saidit as a place to hold in reserve in case Reddit bans us or gets even worse than it already is. Reddit crossed that line long ago.

The only time I'm likely to encounter it is if a web search happens to turn up a post that answers a question for me.

Yes.

All the little support subs for ebay, linux distros, irc and rss subs and other software support. It's great for that.

Faggit can kiss my ass.

I have not been to that toxic site since washing my hands of it back in 2016, and I do not miss it. I'll admit I'm new here, and I fully intend to give it the honest chance it deserves, but I will have no qualms with leaving it, too, if the culture here proves to be anything like that place's.

Follow up question : What other sites have you used in between?

I used a less popular other site for a while, but it quickly got as toxic or worse, just in the other direction, and I would prefer not to name it here.

Edit: it's worth noting that I've been going through so much... is "social animosity fatigue" an accurate description? That I've also deactivated my FB (and I never really used Twitter in the first place).

I still lurk on a few subs, mostly noncontroversial tech / gaming / hobby related stuff where suppression of free speech is less of a concern. Sometimes when I need to ask a question I'll create a new throwaway to do so.

Yes. There a few subreddits I go there to get inspiration for art projects and cats, and other cute little animals.

Three time, here, reddit, and ruqqus.

I try to post either here or ruqqus more though unless I need a specific communitys info.

I harvest important news and links and redirect them here. Mainly from r/conspiracy . I also look over sources such as zerohedge.

I only view subreddits related to music I listen to and hobbies that I like. Everything else that I like to look at is on here.

For example, r/RelientK and r/gardening are subs that I still go on.

Yes.

I started mainly using reddit for "support group" type subs for various things, which have been really helpful for me. I still go to reddit for those. I also still like to look at cute animals.

I do and I hate myself for it. I already only went on a handful of subs but the censorship wiped basically all of them. Sometimes when I'm bored I read AITA, but mostly I read the very slow centrist sub. I have mostly been a lurker on reddit but now I am trying to post more interesting content to make saidit more active and interesting.
