Yeah, but it's not like they can do anything about it? The bot wouldn't need any special permissions on Reddit. And to keep things fair it could even add the link to the post it copied stuff from.

Well this would be one of the first mass bot postings here, so it could ruffle some feathers. I was thinking just post the top 10 or 20 things a day, high quality content, not overwhelming, not taking over /s/all/new

imo the most important is the text content - for instance, long text posts with over N words and over K upvotes? So the bot could monitor all posts coming in /new and check on them several days later - if the number of upvotes exceeds the K threshold, it'd repost them. Just hoping there are people here who might get interested in the idea.

I think text posts are the best too. Why not grab stuff from /r/sub/hot or even top daily?

idk about how /hot posts are formed. Maybe that'd be enough to get the same results. I'm just a bit of a perfectionist and prefer to check the votes myself vs relying on what reddit would put in /hot ; )
