By federizing (sp?) several things could happen. The sooner it happens, the sooner their potential of happening.
* Broader user base and broader code support.
* Greater chance for asstrolls to fork off.
* Less DDoS attacks aimed at asstrolls.
* More decentralization = greater resilience to the powers that be.
