Nay, but only because it almost gave my PC a coronary - otherwise its beautiful

Ahh is it really that bad computationally? Dang it. We may just have to go back to the vertical parallax scrolling, which is still cool, but uses much less CPU

Yeah but I'm on an 8 year old PC, running 2 monitors on an old video card while using 4GB for firefox and 4GB for Conan Exiles, so it's not like I'm on a supercomputer.

Still, the fact you noticed a difference is a big sign. The vertical parallax scrolling only happens when you scroll instead of 24/7, so it's better for the CPU. We'll probably end up changing back to that

Ha no it's not just you, it seems about 60% against it and 40% for it... slowing it way down helped make it more tolerable, but the CPU problems are just too much, when we can get the scroll parallax effect for 1/100th the CPU cost. Shame though, I built a whole special html div so I could do sub-pixel translations on the banner... ah well.

Haha he will live on, through the vertical parallax scroll effect. I'll leave it this way for another 12 hours or so just for fun
