Yeah I mean why bother getting out of your comfort bubble, right? Silence the ones you don't agree with. That's fascis... youth liberalism right?

Whats the point of having subs at all then? If the goal is to make yourself as uncomfortable as possible then just make the whole thing a free for all, no subs and no rules besides the global ones. Maybe people get double karma for posting gore and have highscores for how many libs you trigger /s

Silence the ones you don't agree with.

Not listening to someone isn't silencing them. Its not like a ban from the platform, its just a user not seeing your posts. I don't think we should encourage people to mute everyone that doesn't make saidit feel like their personal cuddle bubble, but it doesn't seem like a stretch that if you have the right to say whatever you want then I at the very least have the right to not listen or not be forced to listen.

it's how a message board i used to go to for a band was, they had two boards really one for the band and one for offtopic stuff, the offtopic board got more popular actually and people that didn't even like the bad were using it and you started a thread on whatever and they were all there, better than this separating style to hundreds of subs, most of them dead.
