Wow I'm shocked. I see posts here that offend me and I want them and their subreddits banned!!! WHY IS THERE NO CENSORSHIP AND WHY ARE THE ALT-RIGHT ALLOWED TO EXPRESS THEIR OPINION?

The internet is very difficult to censor, it routes around and treats censorship like damage. So the old tactics of censorship (owning media outlets, threatening or imprisoning editors or political dissidents) no longer work.
The new tactics attempt to centralize, isolate and control, thus reducing political opponents to a marginalized force - a tiny voice amidst the bullhorn of propaganda from the Mainstream media.
This is directly from the 5th rule of propaganda:
The rule of unanimity: presenting one's viewpoint as if it were the unanimous opinion of all right-thinking people: draining the doubting individual into agreement by the appeal of star-performers, by social pressure, and by 'psychological contagion'.
That is why subs like 'The Donald' are never allowed to front page. Everything you're seeing on main subs is curated, rather than naturally selected by voting systems. The admins, algorithm programmers and mods all keep it that way, as do advertisers who'd pull out if wrong/bad content was allowed to front page.
Wrong/bad content cannot be stopped altogether, but it can be managed.
