I was busy the last days but had your comment in my mind. I went through all the movies I've watched and bookmarked to find that particular movie: A guy at work when the Zombie attack happened. He makes it home to his 2 or 3 wives. They discuss if one of his wives is infected and if/how they should kill her- Zombie-Horror comedy.

I was desperate finding the movie and even double checked Singapore and Malaysian zombie, horror comedies on YouTube, Imdb, The internet... IIrc, it happened in a multi-ethnic, multi-religious country= Singapore/Malaysia. The main guy had 1 or 2 Buddhist wives and one Muslim woman who turns out to be a badass Zombie killer. They dragged the movie down for 15 minutes by going away from being a light hearted horror comedy to social-political commentary on the relations between Buddhists/Hindus and Muslims in Malaysia/Singapore.

I couldn't find the movie and it drove me mad! I'm not crazy and was watching it on YouTube! I didn't respond to your last post because I was on a mission to find that movie an giving you the link. The name of the movie could be a postcode area or borough of Singapore/Malaysia.

Btw, I've watched the movie with the cop stranded in the hospital (the link you gave me). It wasn't familiar at first but after watching the trailer I remembered watching it. I don't recall much, except for the scenes with the 'crazy' doc at the end, opening the gates to another realm that reminded me of the early Hellraiser movies showing hell.

Hollywood lacks good story tellers. They make up for it with big budget fx and selling sex or using black magic. I've seen the Death Note anime, but not the live action movie. No interest really, I know it would just piss me off.

Not sure what movie that was in the police station, but it reminds me of an indie film called The Void (2017). Except the zombies were people turned into monsters. Similar to something David Cronenberg would come up with. Also, the protagonist goes to a hospital instead of a police station, although he is a cop. The original Dawn of the Dead was good for its time for a few reasons. Mainly since it was the next installment after Night of, in color in a modern setting. Romero used it also to make a political statement. Day of the Dead was a better movie to me which tackled a philosphical issue. But the 2 go hand in hand, the ending of Dawn flying away in the helicopter and the beginning of Day of the Dead in the underground bunker where they ended up. Gunna watch the Argento cut later tonight!

The remake for me was way cooler. The start of it was insane and never really let up. The soundtrack with the new (at the time) Johnny Cash song. The biblical references of the end times. Also, having the woman give birth to a zombie was fucking crazy. HAHA The film was beautifully shot too, great use of colors and camera work. Second favorite zombie film would be Return of the Living Dead (1985).

There's a couple other remakes that I found better than the originals that would piss off die hards. Evil Dead (2013) But Evil Dead 2 cant be topped ever. Suspiria (2018) The witches dance sequences evoking evil, was it life imitating art?

I've seen Mayhem and wasn't to happy about Margot Robbie's character. It was to clichee. The conversations were to bad to be bad in a good way. Having said it, the scene were she was spitting at him and he spit back was kinda hot. Asian men loved to see Glen from the Walking Dead getting another White girl. I don't like the 'Pick me' sentiment regardless of race, skin color or gender. The story was better on IMDB than the actually movie.

Train to Busan had me on the edge of my seat. Cursing when my man had died. Screaming at my screen because the 'hero' was an idiot and doing stupid things. Exhausted why idiot can live and my men has to die, and all the other stuff that happened. I'm not sure if I should tag my post with spoilers. Do we even have that spoiler thing on SaidIt? It was one of the best Zombie movies I've seen in years.

I loved Train to Busan but don't think that the movies are similar. They both have fast running Zombies like 100's of other horror movies (29 Days later, World War Z, the one in the police station). One takes place on a train and the other in a building.
