That guy's an ass. There's never been anything like Moore's law for software. Improvements in software have always been incremental, and muh AI is no exception. I mean, computers were playing chess in the 1950s. How far has muh AI really come?

Beyond that, I fail to see how an ad valorem tax on my house helps me financially. At 2.5% that's over $800 per month for the average homeowner. Maybe Altman should ask ChatGPT what word is most likely to occur between "go" and "yourself."
