I still can't tell the difference between vapor and synthwave, now you're telling me vaporwave is masonic and going by other sources, synthwave is alt-right? Has it really come to this?!?!?!? I just thought looking at medusa taunting me would be motivational, ensure I don't turn into stone.

I'm not a fan of much synthwave. I lived through the 80s and that was enough.

Oh man, don't even get me started on Buckaroo Banzai - one of the channels I frequent (Josh Reeves': Global Reality has been on air for over 10 years now - much malaigned, almost always ignored when I post it - the guy started by looking to ancient history, annunaki all that - and is now lambasting Hollywood, primarily scientology) I remember him going off about Buckaroo Banzai for almost 2 hours one show, lol. I'll try to find it.

I've never seen it but after listening to him talk about it forever I feel like I have lol.

Fair enough about not needing another 80's, the synthwave revival is obviously coming from and targeted to a certain age category lol. I outed myself, shit!

I like Josh Reeves alot. Unfortunately I haven't watch as much as I'd like. I was downloading everything before I cut back. There's too many good sources, even if you have to take a while to determine that with any certainty. I'm not into the woo stuff.

I was a lifeguard as a teenager, and even though it was just at pools I got into 60s beach/surf music. Then into the 60s in general, hippies, and classic rock. Simultaneously I was loving the "new wave" and eventually "alternative industrial" scenes of the late 80s and early 90s, while also discovering reggae, world music, etc.

Looking back and mashing up is part of it.

Josh has just put out a 3 part, 6 hour film called Mystery Hollywood - each part is 10$ I'm thinking I need to get them.

He did a live stream of the first episode for free, but deleted it afterward, it's his usual high-quality stuff (like Spellcasters Vol I)
