Photos of me on absinthe at Burning Man never look calm and collected like that. Absinthe can get folks real sloppy real fast. And it's good at wiping out memories.

You don't get to pick and choose which memories.

You're also not innocent of all the shit you can't remember from the night before.

It's fun, if you can remember. The grey area between sober and plastered is MUCH thinner.

I'm suspecting that in ye days of olde, like in the painting, they only did one or two shots rather than make a night of it.
