Military leaders must be stumped at what to do with the draftee.

Why doesn't the Ukraine government surrender and end the war? Instead, the government hunts down their own men, trying to force them to fight to the death.

It appears this man with no hands finally got out of the draft, but other men come out of this war with missing body parts.

[–]ActuallyNot 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (51 children)

Why doesn't the Ukraine government surrender and end the war?

Because that will leave Ukrainians subject to ethnic cleansing under Putin's rule.

If Russia stops fighting, the war ends. If Ukraine stops fighting, Ukraine ends.

[–]EternalSunset 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (26 children)

Because that will leave Ukrainians subject to ethnic cleansing under Putin's rule.

The overwhelming majority of Ukraine's population east of the Dnipro is already composed of Russian speaking Eastern Orthodox Christians. It's hilarious the stuff that the glowies are trying to get people to believe in now, a clear sign of desperation on their part regarding the future of this war.

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (17 children)

The overwhelming majority of Ukraine's population east of the Dnipro is already composed of Russian speaking Eastern Orthodox Christians.

You're stating that a bit too strongly.. But in any case, the brutal ethnic cleansing of the remainder is objectively an outcome that needs to be resisted.

It's hilarious the stuff that the glowies are trying to get people to believe in now, a clear sign of desperation on their part regarding the future of this war.

If disapproving of the annexation of neighbouring countries by force defines "glowie", you'll find most people are glowies.

  1. Nobody here is retarded enough to think that is going to happen, not even you.
  2. Ukraine has declared a war on Russian culture and language in 2014 (they are literally burning books now) and I didn't see atlantist media or shills like you complaining about that.

BTW, why are you replying to me twice?

[–]ActuallyNot 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Nobody here is retarded enough to think that is going to happen, not even you.

It's been happening in the occupied regions.

Ukraine has declared a war on Russian culture and language in 2014

This is a much more metaphorical war than the one in which Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.

It is not accompanied by genocide, torture, rape nor the abduction of children.

I didn't see atlantist media or shills like you complaining about that.

It's a matter of degrees. Protecting and promoting the Ukrainian language in Ukraine is a small defence against the cultural destruction being committed by the invaders.

BTW, why are you replying to me twice?

Sorry. Can't see the double reply. Which ones are you talking about?

[–]EternalSunset 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Nobody here is retarded enough to think that happened, not even you.

14,000 includes only about 3,400 civilians.

It was the russian-backed forces doing most of the abductions and beatings of civilians. And the targetted killings.

https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-has-ukraine-banned-19-million-russian-books-its-libraries-1779446

Ukraine have every right to disassociate themselves with the culture of the occupier muscovites.

No muscovite ever set foot in lviv until 1944

There is no letter i in the muscovite alphabet

Lviv and all of Ukraine has its own culture and language and they deserve to promote that. Do you know what happens if you try and teach Ukrainian in a muscovite school? A 15 year sentence. What about if you try to teach tartar or Kamchat or sibir?

Would you like to take a guess what happens if you try to teach native tartar or Kamchat or sibir in a muscovite school

Guess

It's a strawman strategy that you're using. You're drawing a fake line between what I actually said, versus a fake story which you can disprove.

Let's take this step by step so everyone can see your lies.

  1. You said "they're literally burning books now"

  2. Your statement was a hyperlink to a fake news story.

  3. The fake news story said that in "May 2022, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and Information Policy issued" an order "to destroy at least 100 million books that convey evil"

  4. This was fake news. First of all the number 100 million was conjured out of thin air by propagandists.

  5. It's not burning. No books are being destroyed as part of this initiative. Here's what happened. The government, which doesn't control libraries, recommended that libraries stop repurchasing soviet books when the currently circulating copies get too old. It's fake news propaganda

  6. Here's the original source https://www.rada.gov.ua/news/news_kom/232711.html

  7. Then you linked to a tweet from February a few weeks ago, dated the eve of the anniversary.

  8. It was a fake technique to link all these things

  9. Ukrainians have every right to reject ruzzian culture, the muscovite orcish culture of the rapist occupier

  10. If you really care then account for this....but you can't because your a faker propagandist

https://gur.gov.ua/content/okupatsiini-viiska-vyluchaiut-ta-znyshchuiut-ukrainsku-literaturu-ta-pidruchnyky-istorii.html

In the libraries of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk, Donetsk, Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Ukrainian historical and literary literature, which does not correspond to the postulates of Kremlin propaganda, began to be confiscated. Russian "military police" units were involved for this. Currently, in addition to repressive ones, they perform the so-called "ideological functions".

Police officers are most interested in books on the history of Ukrainian Maidans, ATO/OOS, and the history of Ukrainian liberation struggles. "Extremist" literature includes school textbooks on the history of Ukraine, scientific and popular historical literature.

The occupiers have a whole list of forbidden names. Among them: Mazepa, Petliura, Bandera, Shukhevich, Chornovil. In the cities of Kreminna, Rubizhne (Luhansk region), Horodnya (Chernihiv region), there are known cases of seizure of the book "The Case of Vasyl Stus" by Vakhtang Kipiani.

Found books are removed, destroyed on the spot or taken to an unknown destination.

Isn't that a bit curious how your fake paranoid views ended up so closely aligned with the ministry of truth for all these totalitarian countries

Let's video call and I'll show you what I do for a living. Then you won't have to wonder. But if you're not going to take me up on it then shut the fuck up about me working for whichever imaginary agency

Why don't YOU account for the fact that you keep repeating fakes. How come you let yourself type such fakes as

  • us controls NATO

  • it makes them (how?) vote (where?) in a bloc

  • it controls (how?) most (?) of the world's media

You clearly dont have a clear picture of this in your head. What the hell are you talking about? Where is US making NATO vote as a bloc?

Motha fucker I would love it if US would make NATO vote in a bloc.

Erdogan would be out

Orban would be out

Georgia and Armenia would be in

Aircraft carrier in the black sea

Finland and Sweden into NATO already

Give me the world where USA controls NATO. It's much preferable than this one.

You don't have to make up speculative reasons. Avoiding brutal ethnic cleansing is more than enough reason to fight.

Being invaded is enough reason to fight.

[–]iamonlyoneman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

avoiding brutal ethnic cleansing . . . like what Russia said was one of their main reasons for launching the SMO?

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

Yeah. The Russians propaganda machine lied about that.

Russians aren't necessarily supportive of Russia. They had a home and they had security in Ukraine.

Or..... the grift and money laundering will end.

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

Most people would relate the war to the invasion. The line of causality is pretty clear:

Russia massed troops on the border.
Russia invaded attempting to take Kyiv.
This started the war.

But let's hear your opinion. What grift and laundering do you think is intimately involved in the war?

[–]brimshae 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Any possible answer would depend on you to explain why Zelensky grifting money from other corrupt politicians and Russia invading for any reason are mutually exclusive.

Those reasons for invasion can include things like Putin thumbing his nose at the West, him wanting to take territory from people that told Russia to fuck off decades ago (secession is a human right, BTW), or any other number of things. His reason for doing so is completely irrelevant, TBH.

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

secession is a human right, BTW

You might be mistaken about that.

You can't get out of local tax and pollution laws by declaring your house independent. If you want to leave a country, you have to move.

[–]brimshae 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)
