Absolutely. The sole mission of the jewnited states is to spread globo-homo, child genital mutilation, and anal rim jobs throughout the land. It’s our values in a democracy and we are called to ram faggotry down everyone’s throats.

Helped? USA is like 80% responsible for this, at least.

install
They're called "elections", he won one. I thought America installed the chocolatier? Trump hated Zelenskyy. Why did trump install Zelenskyy as an attack on Putin? That's not even a thing people say. Nobody thinks trump installed Zelenskyy
people in the East of the country
You mean the 99% vote? You are gullible enough to believe that?
allow ukraine to conduct civil war
Even if you could somehow twist your brain into thinking that's a good argument. Wouldn't russia also be at fault for allowing their L/DNR frontmen to conduct a civil war? And what does "allowed" mean in a world where only one security council member tried to keep the conflict going and it wasn't America.
continually push more and more NATO presence into ukraine
That's not a thing. There is no such presence let alone "more and more" presence. You have literally made this one up.
So how on earth did you arrive at 80% when all four arguments are fake

Oh, we trust elections now? So the Donbass is officially Russia and the war is over

Expert international observers who I trust, said Zelenskyy's election was free and fair.
Which means you were wrong to claim America installed him. You're just captured by the Z propaganda because you're weak minded.
Witness how you're having to move the conversation away from the totally fake falsehood lie you told.
When are you going to deal with this false ruzprop lie you told

This article is bullshit and I'll show you why.
The first data point in building their case, is a quote from a speech by Putin. Putin in this speech says that NATO's eastward expansion is the reason for his country's belligerence.
According to the Mises Institute author, this is the only time that Putin was telling the truth, because apparently the other reasons Putin and his minions gave for starting the war aren't worth mentioning. Like -
gathering the ruzzian lands into a union state
denazification
finding the biolabs
demilitarisation
we're not actually doing anything, the collective west is attacking us
black magic and cyborgs
beating Peter the Great
warm water ports and the sea of Azov
If the Mises institute author wants us to take Putin's words as a credible explanation for his belligerence, then the author also needs to explain why only some of Putin's words are real. Why disregard Putin's worry about V O Z black magic (volodymir oleksander zelenskyy) and only focus on that one bit about NATO?
The author's next data point to blame America for russia's belligerence, is the claim that the west was behind maidan. Here's what the Mises author says
We know this was backed by NATO because of a recorded phone call from the Estonian foreign minister Urmas Paet to the EU head of foreign policy, Catherine Ashton. In the call, Minister Paet talks of suspicious members of the new government coalition ordering the sniper murders in Independence Square that killed protesters and police alike
This is such a horrible distortion of what Ashton /Paet said, that once you hear the conversation yourself and compare it to the Mises take, you'll agree with me that this is just horribly fake ruZ prop.
https://youtu.be/ZEgJ0oo3OA8
Here is my summary but you can listen yourself, to this phone call maliciously eavesdropped and released by our enemies.
Paet talked to a nurse from russia named Olga
Olga is full of shit
Olga thinks that the Berkut russian agent snipers who were firing into the patriotic crowds were actually western agents who are being paid to shoot Ukraine patriots to discredit the Yanukovic government
Now go back and look at how this Mises institute asshole summarises the conversation. No mention of Olga, her story is presented as true and as evidence for a western coup. This is horrible ruzprop.
Their third piece of evidence is the phone called which our enemies maliciously eavesdropped and released between Victoria Nuland and the Ukraine ambassador. Here's the transcript
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26079957.amp
It's such a tired worn out piece of ruzprop that never says what the propagandists claim it says. Read it. They're just talking about who America would like to see in charge. This is not how people discuss a conspiracy color revolution which theyre running out the embassy, it's just idle shoptalk. And the people who they name, were only in the transitional government for a short time before losing the vote. Because the Ukrainian people were the ultimate decision maker, not Nuland.
So let's talk about this article a bit more. It doesn't have any links or bibliography. I have already given you links to more of the author's sources than he did. The author decided to post this headshot of himself. Of all the photos he could post, he decided this was the one.
https://mises.org/profile/john-kennedy
He decided that the collar-open smug punchable know-it-all kid appearance was the right one for his Mises headshot. It says he just graduated.
The Mises guys are the ones who claim, that parents have no real obligation towards children, that the rich have no obligation to the poor, that if you don't fight off you rapist then nature has determined you deserve to be raped. It's Ayn Rand as a smarmy trumpist frat house.
I do wonder u/Drewski whether you just normally browse Mises just to see what they're up to, and saw this article and found it worth posting here. Or whether you just saw it linked on some other ruZprop site. Either way please look again at his headshot and realise this is who you are promoting here

I realize a lot of the reasons Putin gave after the Ukraine invasion were Russian propaganda. The key word there is after though. Putin has said for years that NATO expansion was a hard red line. An analogy to the US is the Cuban Missile Crisis; Putin has warned repeatedly that he sees the missile installations along Russia's border in Romania and Poland as an existential crisis.
Now for the US backed coup in 2014, aka the Maidan Revolution. It was conducted by far right shock troops, and while many Ukranians were justifiably sick of Yanukovych nobody can reasonably argue that it was an organic, democratic movement. Nuland's comments "Fuck the EU" and "Yats [Arseniy Yatsenyuk] is the guy who’s got the economic experience" might be dismissed as "shop talk" but I doubt you'd make the same argument if it was said by Lavrov or another Russian ambassador.
As for the author's headshot, your final and strongest point. Yeah, the kid should get a better picture. I'll give him props though, fresh out of college and he's already writing better articles than most of the garbage in mainstream "journalism".

Putin has said for years that NATO expansion was a hard red line
You still don't understand. It's russia's destiny to rule the whole world. NATO wasn't expanding eastward in the 1930s when russia invaded Poland and Finland and the Baltics. NATO wasn't expanding eastwards in the fifties when russian troops entered prague and Budapest. And NATO wasn't expanding eastward when russia took Amur, Manchuria and all its tartar and sibir colonies.
If we're supposed to take Putin seriously only when he talks about NATO then you need to explain why we're not supposed to take him seriously when he talks about Peter the Great gathering russian lands?
US backed coup in 2014,
What's your evidence? Everybody says this but just presents the same useless evidence. Show me any proof beyond what I've already debunked. Because it was not a coup, it was a revolution of dignity and should be a model people's takeover for everyone who fears big government oversight.
he's already writing better articles than most of the garbage in mainstream "journalism
I strongly invite you to listen to the Paet /Ashford call and compare the contents to what this smarmy teenager wrote. He's a propagandist simply mirroring other propaganda. There's nothing here we haven't dealt with 20 times over. Zero evidence, but he confirms your worldview and fake biases so you don't see anything wrong with this completely unsourced, deliberately misleading fake article

We’ve been pushing for a proxy conflict with Russia for a long time. Jews in our government have always had a hatred for Russia and ethnic Russians because of shit that happened 100 years ago.
Ukraine represents, to them, the ancestral stomping grounds, hence the almost creepy like obsession with it. Trump was impeached for asking questions pertaining to things going on in Ukraine, and it’s not a coincidence that his impeachment proceedings contained more Jews than a Chinese restaurant on Christmas.
