Lol yeah for 40 years now. Ever since they lost control in 1979. The CIA/Mossad had Iran from 1954 to 79, but then they lost it, and they've been trying to get it back ever since.

And then they overthrew Saddam and conquered Iraq after he failed.

They keep trying Syria too. They succeeded in Iraq and Egypt and Lebanon and Jordan and Yemen, but they've failed to retake Iran or Syria from Russia's backing.
