The submit link glitch

The other day when I went to submit a link it tried to submit a link post and a text post at the same time, resulting in a self post that I could not delete. I made it work in another post by clicking the text header and then the link header. Here is an illustration: https://i.imgur.com/4Vx7qi9.png

Anyone else run into this problem? It seems to be fixed for me now. I can also delete posts now too.

Thanks again for the illustration and the report. We've had one other user have this same error. We will put it on the job board.

If anyone can figure out exactly what creates this bug and let me know, I'd really appreciate it. I cannot recreate the bug, and OP said in chat that the bug resolved itself as well for him, so he cannot re-create it.

So if anyone can do it consistently, please let me know.

Hopefully this is due to us doing server maintenance. I did several reddit-restarts last night / early today. I'll start posting when I do this so we can correlate issues to server changes.

You know.. I started doing reddit-stop then reddit-start because reddit-restart was acting funny for me. Maybe you should try that out, but maybe it's just in my head lol
