degeneracy is only a "choice" insofar as the individual understands what it does to them. And people don't understand this. They think it's just "what they like". It really isn't. Demon worshippers have sexual activities while they sacrifice and eat unborn babies. There are reasons for that, but stupidity is the order of the day in this age, and so, ignorance reigns.

It is difficult to learn what is degenerative on the mind, on the being, at least to those of us who were raised under cultic parents, or brainwashed teachers. I, for one, do not enjoy using what people would call "curse" words, not because I agree with my grandma and think they are always evil, but because when I use them, I am always angry. Every. Time.

Slowly changing these things has to come from individual choice, right? The individual has to take the reigns of their life/mind into their own hands after years of atrophy, yes? How could a living skeleton ever accomplish such a heavy task?

Yes, it is up to the individual to do it. However, anger is the driver of revolt, and it is by revolting oneself against degeneracy that one bans it from their life. Hatred and anger are not to be used against living things. But against a force such as what drives degeneracy, is exactly what these energies are for.
