How can you be the 'alt base' and not talk about the holohoax?

Four main reasons you can't add Holobunga material to AltBase
1) Its an extremely information-loaded, arcane topic I don't know enough about. So, I can't effectively moderate the related content
2) This topic always sidelines others topics. I know that if I open it up to the Holocaust, we're going to get dedicated users who only that post that content, drowning out other new entries and content
3) The topic turns off a lot of potential converts. A lot of HBDers, libertarians, and others who reluctantly support pro-white politics desperately do not want to be seen as "Nazis", and Holocaust revisionism is decidedly Nazi (in the public perception). AltBase might be ignored or dismissed by these people who we want to attract
4) Holocaust revisionism makes us a bigger target. I don't want to give JIDF another reason to come after this project
These are all especially relevant in the early stages of the project while I'm the only administrator and the platform is vulnerable. Allowing Holocaust revisionism is just not a good way to start, in my opinion

I'm tempted to go through each of your points but haven't had enough coffee yet this morning. The bottom line is if your 'space' is devoid of discussions about holohoax, jewish power, Israel, or false flags like 911 then it's just an 'alt lite' base. I understand your hesitance to deal with the all the primary source history around WWII but you probably shouldn't market yourself as 'alt' if you are afraid to host certain content. It's just another layer of self censorship. I do support 'normie outreach' type approaches that hide JQ and holobunga talk as a strategy but there are just as many people that hide those topics because they are a controlled opposition group.

There's plenty of JQ stuff. Just search using the tag '#Jews'
afraid to host certain content
I'm not so much 'afraid' of hosting it as much as I think its a bad strategy. Many potential collaborators will just outright refuse to work with people who question or discuss these things
I do support 'normie outreach' type approaches
"Holocaust denial" is illegal in most European countries and talking about 9/11 or the holocaust is a bannable offense on most large forums. And these are the places where its mostly intended to be used - debating normies in places like Reddit. AltBase is supposed to be for quick references for /ourguys/ in online forums where we are at a numerical disadvantage and we need to search for stuff quickly. Or for writing articles, too
I conceived it primarily for race-realism, combating anti-white and globohomo narratives on degeneracy, Islam, feminism, etc. These are all mostly Alt-Right topics, and the Alt-lite can't do race-realism or JQ. I'm not necessarily opposed to hosting holocaust or 9/11 stuff at some point in the future, just not right now (actually no such rule exists for 9/11 at present). I might be amenable to changing my mind, if that's what users really want

Ok. Thanks for clarifying your approach. I don't think avoiding holocaust and 9/11 content on the alt base will prevent it from getting black balled by mainstream social media companies. Maybe in 2010 but not today. I say that as a former mod of the reddit 'strange statistics' sub that took a similar approach and was still banned.

Thanks again for clarifying. You appear to have good intentions with what you're doing and I support it. I hope that your project grows. Please let me know if can be of any assistance.

I have some 1st hand, provable evidence on that thread. I'm a mod on reddit, have a significant opus covering the controversial topics you guys are worried about. I've not been permanently banned yet, and suspect that if I reduce my activity there to a crawl, it may stay put for a long time. If you want to keep s/Altbase clean of JQstuff etc., you can post indirectly to my done-deal refs, no worries mate. Got questions on how to do that, let's talk about it.

but why? I dont think there is enough evidence showing that germans were angels.

I think there also might be some confusion about what "AltBase" is intended to mean. Its a contraction of "Alternative-Right Database", not a "Base" for the Alt-Right.
I can see how the name might be confusing, I've never really received direct feedback on the branding itself

Suggestion, ABG... don't replace AltBase Info (To Be Replaced), do this instead. Create another post for introducing the sub and what it's about, and include a link to the said post, but more which can be edited ongoing, whereas the tobereplaced post becomes part of your history. Then 'sticky' the new post as an announcement, it will appear permanently above all other activities. Look at what I've done with my subs on reddit. I stickied one post titled Collection index where I included links to traffic stats, which is one of the mod tools. See my comment to send_nasty_stuff, above.

I'll create a brand-new, better post on how to use AltBase.net and what AltBase is about in the future. This is what will "replace" the old post. I haven't figured out how to sticky yet on saidit.. I also don't see your username on reddit

ABG; I have a different username on reddit. You did not look at my comment to send_nasty_stuff where I wrote "I'm a mod on reddit".
A moderator has a different display than a user. Below a posting title, there is a menu list: "comment edit share save hide distinguish delete spam remove lock nsfw spoiler crosspost" and below the text display box another list "(sorted by: new) (set as suggested sort) (disable inbox replies (?)) (enable contest mode) (make announcement) (pin to profile)"
Notice the item (make announcement). If you click that, the post you link will then become "stickied" meaning it will appear at the top of the sub contents display, with letters in bold green, and stay there. Any post can be made announcement, does not need to be in the sub.

Below a posting title, there is a menu list: "comment edit share save hide distinguish delete spam remove lock nsfw spoiler crosspost"
I'm aware, but no such menu appears for me. I see:
" comment edit save hide (un)distinguish delete spam remove approve lock nsfw"
There is another option, "make announcement" let me try that
Edit: That worked. I'm still replacing that post though. Talk about what Altbase is in the post, and link to a guide in the wiki or something. Based on some suggestions I've had I think I'm going to have to overthaul the entire UI
