I don't believe that the connection of the concrete floor to the steel support structure was included in NIST's model. However, I'm not sure that's the same thing that you're talking about here. I think what I read was that NIST did not include the "studs" embedded in the floor.

Yes I think what they call 'studs' are the ends of the diagonal cross members in the main trusses that extended upwards, out through the top members so when the concrete floor was poured they became embedded in that concrete.
