I think they just remote-piloted real planes with real people, that capability exists (fly-by-wire), and I don't see why they wouldn't just do that. More trauma = more control. There's no reason to over-complicate things.

Nah, Alice Hoagland and the flight manifests say otherwise. Read Elias Davidsson's book, called Hijacking America's mind. If anything else, the planes were drones painted to look like passenger jets, exactly the same as the ones that allegedly departed that day, though two did not. Operation Northwoods, with mock vicsims and aliases seems far more likely based on the research of a few passengers that are alive with aliases who now are millionaires.

Besides the pilots would know something is going on. It is CLEAR on radar that the planes switched their transponders with drones. That and two planes flew straight over the first privatized airport Stewart International Airport north of New York City. They most likely landed there, very much what Operation Northwoods said would happen.
