The bottom of the “rabbit hole” is a choice between The Creation and The Creator

The rabbit hole, like Dante's Inferno, descends through many levels of deception/hell. Beyond the many deceptions and powers that be, yonder the cabals and happenings, at the zenith of as above; the pit of so below, there is a choice: The Creation or the Creator.
 

Choice 1: The Creation. This majestic universe full of all its glory, mystery, and wonder. To behold and experience it is nothing short of magnificent. The construction - holographic and vibratory in nature – is projected from consciousness and perceived on an individual basis. My soul, a fraction of the Whole, is God experiencing His creation from an isolated perspective. Though I concern myself with notions of good v. evil, light v. darkness, yin v. yang, I need not, for this Creation operates as a pendulum or scale and will swing and balance itself as the collective consciousness sees best fit.
 

As a divine being, a co-creator with limitless potential, I can bend reality to manifest my dreams. Though many rules govern the operation of this Creation, there are ways to hack this reality. There are many magicks that can break the rules. There are techniques (meditation, astral projection, lucid dream manipulation, et alia) I can use that can supersede the rules that bind my solo experience. If I learn enough of these hacks I can either transcend this dimension's vibration, or become a master co-creator capable of bending the rules of the Creation. Whatever magicks I can conjure or powers I can develop should be, for I Am That, and would not have bestowed these powers upon myself had they not been intended to be unlocked.
 

When I die, my soul will rejoin the Whole to share what I have learned before deciding if I want to get jacked back into a body to go for another ride in this reality, or choose to take a jaunt in a different equally divine experiment of God/myself experiencing God/myself. Whatever I choose will not matter in the grand scheme of things because there is no purpose to any of this other than my own experience.
 

Choice 2: The Creator. God created this world full of all its trials and tribulations, deceptions and difficulties. Though He acknowledged that His creation operates on rules that can be hacked, He has told me not to for this life is not about what I can get, but rather what I can give. The laws I am to follow are His and I have no say in defining the ideal way to live/operate/behave in His creation.
 

As an essential part of the creation, God created me in his image. Rather than making me a divine being, God made me extremely fallible and pumped me full of sin and urges that compel me to break the laws he set. Though I have free will to do whatever I like in the creation, God would prefer it if I choose to worship him and live by following the rules He set forth. There are penalties for not following God's rules, but as long as I submit to God and apologize for not heeding his advice, I will not be penalized for eternity.
 

To give an example of how to live by God's rules, God sent His son Jesus to demonstrate it for us. The example Jesus set was so far beyond what any of us can follow that He had Him killed so our unavoidable sins could be forgiven. Otherwise, it is unlikely myself or anyone else would be able to live well enough spend eternity with God, which is apparently his desire for us. To make sure we knew Jesus was the real deal, Jesus did not use any hacks or magicks, but performed many miracles that are beyond the scope of esoteric tricks, including but not limited to rising from the dead. Jesus was so convincing in his tricks/miracles that all of his apostles, minus one, were martyred for spreading the message that folks should live by the Creator's rules.
 

When I die, if I place my faith in the Creator, I will be given eternal life. This will be simple yet difficult to do because it will mean my life has been lived in pursuit of something bigger than myself, with purpose and constant restraint.

Great writeup, I really resonated with a lot of it.

good v. evil, light v. darkness, yin v. yang

I almost see creator vs created as the same way. It's just another false dichotomy. The universe is what's happening, I think ascribing a notion of inherent consciousness to it or seeing it as a cold self-perpetuating mechanical scientific process... they're both right in their own way.

I think hylozoism is the way forward to merge these two perspectives. If we consider the universe itself to contain consciousness in the same way it contains mass, then we can imagine just like mass there are some collections of consciousness and organization (or "negentropy", if you're familiar with that term) that are larger than others. So god is of this order, and in that sense god is real. But simultaneously I see no need to invoke the supernatural.

Entropy vs negentropy is a more real dichotomy, and I think many interpret negentropy as god and entropy as satan because it's easy to understand in that narrative wrapper as it anthropomorphizes the universe. This battle is everywhere, even the basis of this site is the pyramid of debate, which itself is based on negentropy and the highest organization of the information that is possible given the circumstances.

If we stop drawing a divide between "god" and "the universe" then we can see they are the same. The only difference is the question: Does the universe have a universe-sized mind or not? This would be "god" to me.

We can plainly see that matter works toward negentropy, because of the fact animals and plants and molecules exist. Matter seeking ever-higher organization is inherent to the behavior of the matter in the universe itself from the atomic level to the level of a human brain and beyond. There will always be localized pockets tending towards negentropy (despite the universe itself always trending toward entropy as a whole) and it seems to imply there is consciousness possible at every scale of size and complexity, and is always developing and expressing itself.

If you were an enlightened ant, would you be able to recognize an enlightened human being from a dumb one? Is 250,000 neurons enough to be able to recognize the subtleties of an 80 billion neuron system? Would we recognize god if it was right in front of us? What if a solar system is just a neuron to god? Can a bacteria living in one of my neurons recognize the negentropy in this article I'm writing right now? Could we recognize if we were inside the neuron of a benevolent or evil higher being? Or are we simply lacking the complexity and sophistication to even sense it?

Different scales of organization pass each other like ships in the night. It is so hard to wrap our heads around. It seems like we are caught in an endless parade of dichotomies as ideologies that end up being false once thoroughly explored. It seems like the modern human journey to tread this path of narratives fed to us by culture. I guess it's just the failure of the human brain to over-value dichotomies as explanations. This probably has to do with the 2 halves of our brain that "fight" to hash out what the best understanding is across the corpus collosum that bridges the two halves. Then once one side wins, we have to find a new dichotomy to play with. Then when we find one that engages both halves again, we have a "revelation" and we "see the world in a new light". We've all had this, many times in our lives. And each time we think we finally have the real answer, lol. Although we slowly get wiser through our experience in our search for organization of ideas and negentropy, in the end we are just children playing.

[meta] Loved this post the first time I saw it on the other CST. It’s the first one that greeted me when I arrived here this morning. Initially came to see what ‘saidit’ was all about when magnora7 mentioned in another post there. Glad that I now have another option to ‘read-it’ — much love to mags for creating this place.
