i also want to point out that technology can only work so far. if someone has a ski mask on and all black, and no dna left behind, you arent going to find them. that isnt moneys fault. that is just the way it is. and no, you cannot camera up everything. that should be 100000x's illegal. because that IS an invasion of privacy. if i decided to fuck my gf in a park, or a library, and the cops had camera evidence that would be disturbing to say the least. its just public sex when no one is wathcing. everyone does it. not hurting anyone. but if i robbed someone then yeah, i want my shit. so it goes so many ways. why are cops always too far away when you need them? where are they sitting. shouldnt they be walking around and doing shit? the answer is yes. they should be. so should citizens. some cops would rather hit on the local deli chick because they get pensions and are corrupt. some would rather sit in their car and never leave it. you are saying, lets give raises, rather than lets give audits and demotions. or, lets keep the raises for the real heros. and then, maybe the cops should be the tax heros we need, and take a break for a few years now and then to let the middle man catch a breath. that would be a real good cop.
