It's kind of the easy take. I'd agree cases like this are a pretty good way to find ideological hypocrites when it comes to immigration.

I'm generally in favor of pretty lax immigration laws and don't see much reason to deny applicants from developed countries such as Germany from moving to another developed country if they wish and proper reprocipical agreements are made.

In this case though it looks like they didn't have a legal basis to move to the US in the first place and are simply taking advantage of the lax immigration enforcement to stay when they really should never have been allowed in in the first place according to the current law.

Homeschooling itself is a different issues that has its own slew of potential problems stemming from the US almost total lack of regulation and oversight. I'd argue the German way of almost totally banning it is too strict, (it is a Nazi era law after all) but they're decisions not to simply allow homeschooling for religious reasons is correct I believe. It you allow religious exemptions for all reasons then you allow for people to simple keep their daughters home and not teach them anything because they don't believe women should get an education, and you allow for whatever kind of anti-social cult you can think of to completely separate from society and brainwash the kids only in cult ideology and not give them the educational tools they need for supporting themselves in the future.

Axios blames "regulatory pressure," but I'm not so sure. Two other factors in the mix:

1) "Top global news sites" are paywalling, and no one wants to link people to stuff they can't read;

There are conflicting reports. I read that Epstein suffered two attacks on his neck.

The first time:

In my opinion, the only reason anyone should ever have taken a chance on totally new and completely untested mRNA "vaccine" platform and manufacturing process is is this person thought that getting COVID without any immune system boast would be a death sentence.

In Star Trek they had communicators and tricorders which is basically an equivalent to todays smart phone.

The reality vs. the science fiction is smart phones are much worse then what was presented in the Star Trek universe.

In Star Trek their communicators were use for just that communications. Our phone are used for personal surveillance. Some naïve people would argue that the surveillance is only for advertisement purposes to sell you products you are already thinking about but If someone would like to test it, seriously talk about "replacing" the government and watch to see who shows up at your door. I got a crisp $50 that at the very least you will be put on a list!

As for the tricorders, they were tools to help. Our smartphones are trackers and attention whores designed to give you a cheap dopamine hit and keep you coming back for more. Any useful tools on them are either monetized or you are selling yourself and information.
