I'd have to play around with some numbers or try to find the article on his website, I believe it was an article and not one of his videos.

Let's say whites have a risk of 50% to do a hate crime during an encounter, and blacks have the same. Then the number of hate crimes would be the same for both blacks and whites, however much fewer whites would've committed hate crimes proportionately. In your example after 1000 interracial encounters, 500 blacks did a hate crime, 500 whites did. 50% of blacks did (500 / 1000) while only 0.01% of whites did.

There is something wrong with a small number of people's brains. But it deals purely with biologically sexually dimorphic characteristics, not social stereotypes. I only know because I have it. Of course that means trying to diagnose this in children who haven't gone through puberty yet is very problematic.

I don't know how it works because there's no evidence of brain gender, yet whether someone has played Super Mario Bros. can be detected. Then again, studies have also failed to find differences between autistic and control brains.

There must be some small differences that equip a person to function as best they can as their sex. Or it could be that some people are just extremely unlucky and by chance end up with preferences that the opposite sex is biologically more suited for. So far I know of no real differences in personality that aren't obviously the result of socialization. Even for the studies which show that infants have a preference for girl and boy toys, the real explanation is science and people in general vastly underestimating the intelligence of the mute, as usual. Babies absolutely ARE aware of gender roles and which one they belong to, it's not hard to figure out especially when your family is showering you with boy or girl toys.

I've been coping by building up my real world relationships and connections, putting a lot of energy into prepping (I might not survive an atomic bomb but at least I can stay home with all my food and ammo when the rampaging hordes of unprepared are tearing up the supermarkets), and honestly, it may seem trite, but turning to religion. It doesn't matter what religion, really - except for Scientology, probably don't do that - but religion brings hope and community, a common cause.

Also I've been trying not to stop enjoying my life when I can. Sometimes I do feel like all I want to do is crawl into a black hole but there is still good in the world. I take the beauty where I can - getting up early to see the sunrise, playing with my dog, enjoying a nice dinner with friends, doing useless hobbies just for fun.

There's no normal to go back to, I don't think, but I have to make of it what I can, while I can.

Take the Aboriginal Canadians for instance. There's no other place on Earth to actually import them, and yet their population has grown in recent years.

The studies are the best that we have, and all the work in the area points to the same conclusions.

It's pretty clear that we're doing this right. It's not impossible that evidence comes to light that changes our approach. But it's unlikely to get better without new technology.

It's not as bad for everyone.
