Static electricity could help run air conditioners about study Recycled Polystyrene Waste to Triboelectric Nanogenerators: Volumetric Electromechanically Responsive Laminates from Same-Material Contact Electrification.

There's potential for energy from the turbulent exhaust of air conditioning units to be collected that could reduce the energy demand by up to 5% and, ultimately, lower the carbon footprint of the system. We could produce this static electricity just from air blowing on the surface of our clever patches, then harvest that energy.

It could but it can not and polystyrene microfibers look like great source of microplastic pollution. See also:

Books have started this trend first. I'd guess that our brain can process this volume of information well, it just stores it into a periphery areas of memory. When we run with forest, then we should also process huge amount of information (as the predators can be hidden behind every leaf), but this information is rather temporary. See also:

The context here is a recurring theme:

  • Alien invasion
  • A lie is believed because the world is immersed in fiction and disregards the truth.
  • Mankind no longer knows the purpose of life.... or that Jesus is the Lord who is also their Savior. That is why the fallen angels and beings from hell can masquerade as "aliens" and people have no idea where they came from, or who has the power to stop their plans. Those who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

So, people go along with the world and its authority, taking the mark in their right hand or in their forehead. The "sheeple" are branded as cattle belonging to the world. With the sheep are also many goats. Those that wake up realize that God can save them from this evil plan.... they turn away from sin and turn to the Holy One.

How did you determine the specific bacteria strain that infected you?

Old dry pasta would be safe to eat as long as it was kept dry and cooking in boiling water will disinfect it. I understand from your other comments that you ate pre-cooked ravioli with cheese. Did you simply take it out of the fridge and heat it up in the microwave oven?

Years ago, I learned a lesson about food that does not smell or taste pleasant. I got sick from eating lentils pre-cooked on a previous day, that were allowed to warm up to room temperature because the fridge was not working, and the lentils did not smell or taste right. But I had no other source of protein available at that time, so I ate it anyway. Soon after I was vomiting outside. I learned. Our sense of taste and smell is not just for enjoying pleasure, but to warn us to not consume something unsavory.

Matt Stoller: An Assassin Showed Just How Angry America Really Is by penelopepnortney in WayOfTheBern

[–]penelopepnortney[S,M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

In his speech for the Sherman Antitrust Act in 1890, Senator John Sherman of Ohio made a number of legal points about how to understand competition. But the thrust of his argument was about law and order, for the specter of violence was hanging over a nation that had within living memory experienced a massive and traumatic civil war. And there had been significant, and violent, strikes involving railroads, sometimes nationwide.

Sherman believed America as a free people simply could not sustain the rise of immense concentrations of power in the industrial corporations he saw in his day. Congress had to act, or chaos would reign. Here’s what he said:

You must heed their appeal or be ready for the socialist, the communist, and the nihilist. Society is now disturbed by forces never felt before. The popular mind is agitated with problems that may disturb social order, and among them all none is more threatening than the inequality of condition, of wealth, and opportunity that has grown within a single generation out of the concentration of capital into vast combinations to control production and trade and to break down competition.

Just two years earlier, President Grover Cleveland, in his 1888 State of the Union, discussed that same social chaos in the wake of the rise of large corporations and the inequality they brought.

Communism is a hateful thing and a menace to peace and organized government but the communism of combined wealth and capital, the outgrowth of overweening cupidity and selfishness, which insidiously undermines the justice and integrity of free institutions, is not less dangerous than the communism of oppressed poverty and toil, which, exasperated by injustice and discontent, attacks with wild disorder the citadel of rule.

The social contract, in other words, goes both ways. It’s not just mean for a small clique to run a corrupt system, but Americans who are put upon, if given no peaceful options, will fight back violently.

...one school of political thought is that a key way to maintain social order is through legitimacy. The people had to be persuaded that corporations and government were on their side. “If we desire respect for the law,” said Louis Brandeis, “we must first make the law respectable.”

Early on Wednesday morning, an assassin killed UnitedHealth Care CEO Brian Thompson in Midtown Manhattan. UnitedHealth Care is the biggest health insurer in America, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, which is the largest employer of doctors, a giant pharmacy benefit manager, a technology firm, and so forth, basically a giant health care platform. (I wrote up how these types of firms formed in 2020 in a piece called How CVS Became a Health Care Tyrant).

We don’t know why the killer did it, though he scrawled “deny” “defend” and “depose” on bullet casings, indicating that he at least wants people to believe it’s a result of unjust and routine denials of care by the health insurance giant. "There had been some threats," his wife Paulette Thompson told NBC News. "Basically, I don’t know, a lack of coverage?” While I’m immediately suspicious of such a neat and clean-sounding motive, if you do take it on face value, that does sound a lot like the mob rule Jefferson, Sherman, Cleveland, and others warned about.

... almost everywhere outside of such official channels, pouring out through every seam of the internet, was a different message, a message of raw unadulterated hatred, of “this guy deserved it.” This picture, for instance, came from a Reddit channel dedicated to nursing. Yes, these are the people who heal for a living, and they are mocking this guy’s death. “My patients died while those bitches enjoyed 26 million dollars,” said one. There are endless angry comments about Thompson from people who try to stop people from dying. That’s how bad it is.

While I really dislike a lot of these people, none of us should want to live in a country where assassination becomes a method of political expression. It’s hard to see democracy surviving if elected leaders and corporate leaders feel they might be shot at any point. And that’s why we have to actually get our laws working again. I hope that men like Carl Nichols and Fortune 500 CEOs start to wake up, and see that there is deep rage outside their clubby environs that can’t be fixed with security measures but must be addressed by some measure of social obligation to the people who live here.

After all, societies that give citizens no way to control their own lives, but put the fate of their people in the hands of distant masters with no concern at all for their wellbeing, invite disaster. We’ve always known that. It’s one of the main reasons for the passage of our antitrust laws. So I hope we can get some control over our society again, before we truly do spin out of control.

In Sunday sermon Dan Patrick says that if Christians don't fight, 'we lose'

Texas' lieutenant governor delivered the message at Houston's Second Baptist Church on Mother's Day, telling the congregation that the country is “under attack."

The Republican Southern Baptist told the SBC-affiliated megachurch that the nation is "under attack from true Marxist socialists," whom he alleges believe in government over God. These sort of folk, Patrick continued without evidence and without being more specific, want to "get rid of the family and get rid of God and make government everyone's family and everyone's God.

This is the kind of religious extremism you get with the Republican party, and now they'll rob the 99% to pay the .01%, while making an American Taliban across the US, banning drugs, human rights, &c.

Thanks for watching! Yeah, I thought you might be one of the handful of people that saw the video, but I dropped the link anyway, also for others to see.

My daughter wants to do her own thing so I am glad she has a place of her own while she figures out the meaning of life. She is always welcome to visit home or communicate with me and she still lives in the same area. But most teenagers and young adults don't want to associate much with their parents. They feel like they should go off into the world and try it out to see if it is what they want, like the story of the prodigal son. I did the same, but after many unpleasant experiences decided to return to the Father's house.

It appears you have been like another set of parents to your niece. I hope you have a good camping experience, and that she and her boyfriend stay out of trouble. Camping seems like a better choice for married couples. Maybe they will get married.

According to Western intelligence estimates, the total Russian war casualties amount to 610,000 people, including 200,000 dead and 400,000 wounded. The Pentagon gives similar figures: 615,000 casualties, including 115,000 dead. In contrast, Ukraine's losses, according to Western sources, range between 60 and 100 thousand dead and about 400 thousand wounded. The accuracy of these figures is difficult to verify, however, because some soldiers who may be listed as missing in action or presumed dead are not always reflected in official statistics.

Online Dating App Safety Tips to Protect Yourself by ForeverUs_In_Love in Dating

When using online dating apps, safety should always be your top priority. Protect your personal information by avoiding sharing too much too soon, especially details like your home address or financial information. Use the app's messaging features rather than texting or calling directly until you feel comfortable. Trust your instincts if something feels off, don’t hesitate to end communication. Always meet in public places for the first few dates. If you’re looking for a safe, fun experience, join cammatch where you can connect with others while staying secure online.

Is Little Bear the cat who recently departed from you?

I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm glad to know you have love in your heart for God's creatures. We have something in common. You lost your cat, and I also lost my cat. My cat is now living with my daughter, so I should not grieve even though I sometimes miss him. I know he is helping my daughter to develop love in her heart, which is the purpose of life. I hope (and pray) your friend is also in a better place.... spiritually ascending.... and perhaps you will see your cat again when it's your turn to cross over.

If you loved your cat, do not feel guilty about its passing. Many people bring their pets to men to heal, and then the pet dies there in a frightening environment surrounded by strangers and other sick animals, dying in a cage away from their owners, leaving a medical bill behind. Your beloved friend was with you when it was time to go. That is a better place to be.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad boarded a plane and left to an unknown destination, two senior army officers familiar with the incident told Reuters on Sunday. by neolib in WorldNews

I think it's a very important question. The short answer is that 95% of the rebels aren't officially Jihadists, but instead part of a general international effort to end the Assad dynasty and Ba'athist Syria. Why that has happened should be traced back to the Iraq war, IMO, and the reason Israel gave false information in order to start that war. It's still possible or even likely that mostrebels are worse than the latest Assad regime. Salafi Jihadist groups were only in small pockets of Syrian territory, and not in all cases (if any), aligned with the 'Syrian opposition' or the 'Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria' and their allies. All of the armed factions are ridiculously complex and I doubt the US news media will explain them properly. Here is a full list. Here is a map of their general locations on 1 December. Here is a template of all controlled areas, and notes on how to use it in order to see shifts in activity. What's especially disturbing about this war is that the many factions and the major countries involved will continue their meddling in Syria's governance, which will continue their roles in destabilizing the region.

Putin might listen since he and Trump seems to get along. Watch for Russia attempting to grab as much land as possible before a cease-fire. The hope of a cease-fire should boost the morale of Ukrainian troops and inspire them to hold the line. The West should pour weapons into Ukraine to enable it to prevent anticipated Russian attacks.

Bobby Muzelle never learned his lesson, and at last word he was still attending women's conferences, speaking to sparse crowds in Chillicothe about the gay man, raking his lawn, masking up, turning the thermostat down, and wearing sensible shoes. Why should anyone expect him to change? This kind of true belief is an instinctive, innate optimism in the face of the facts.

There are different types of crime certainly but they are all rooted from evil. People must be careful not to confuse the current state of israel and its inhabitants with the Judea of the Bible, which consists of the same land mass. The inhabitants that control the 1948 state of israel are evil. The current "jews", as they have branded themselves, are nothing more than imposters promoting a deception of prophecy. They are not the Hebrews. They are not the Israelites. They are not semetic. There is a small percentage of original "sons of Israel" living there but they have no voice.

The vatican including the jesuits push the exact same agenda as those that control the 1948 created state of israel. The vatican conspirators simply target a different crowd. This is a war whether you acknowledge that or not, a war of good vs evil and there is no middle ground. This is a war for the soul of humanity.
