The problem is that murder is bad and that there are some (not that many in this case) who will be more upset about the murder than about the millions of suffering and dead insured patients that paid for healthcare, which was initially promised, but not provided. As the shooter writes, the US if 46th in the world for healthcare insurance. The US is worse than several third world countries for this. The US also has the most expensive healthcare in the world. Because health insurance companies are also involved in US politics (have been for decades), asking them to regulate themselves will not work politically. The ACA is now under threat, because it was under threat when Trump was previously a president, and he campaigned with the promise to repeal the ACA. We know from the Trump/Harris campaigns that this promise to repeal the ACA will cut healthcare for tens of millions of patients. Politicians might protect the ACA if they get enough calls from their constituents. But this is unlikely. And Trump supporters are brainwashed into thinking the ACA is somehow bad. Without it, however, there is no insurance for most old people or people with pre-existing conditions. It's times like this that protests might help somewhat. And there will be occasions when someone feels that murdering a CEO might help bring attention to the problem. However one brings attention to this national problem, it will save lives, keep people from accruing insurmountable medical debt, and resolve a lot of their suffering if there are ways to bring public attention to the massive health insurance crisis.
