If you add up a couple of marriages and fake relationships from each conservative subculture in a large city you can start to reach dozens and dozens of couples. If there are fifty lesbians in NYC in the 90s sleeping with gay men- there's your transmission risk.

I honestly don't believe that, though. I wasn't alive then so who knows.

It might be by design though. I doubt old media's YT presence is affected by this at all. The more comments there are, the better the video performs in visibility, so if you're not part of a big company, but are getting "too many comments" "too quickly" then you end up being competition for the big 5, which they can't allow.

To play the devil’s advocate, there are gay men who are deeply closeted so they get married to women and occasionally have sex with them just to have babies or convince themselves to like it, hoping it would become an acquired taste. It’s a tragedy, but it does happen.

That being said, there are bisexual men out there who insist that they are gay, and they sleep with women. And some people genuinely believe that these obviously bisexual men are gay, because they see being gay as a personality, or think that simply being attracted to men is enough to make you gay, or they think that gay men are sexual deviants who would sleep with anything that moves. There was a miniseries called Bob and Rose, where a “gay” man falls in love with and marries a woman. Obviously he’s bisexual, but the character and the show in general insist that he’s still a gay man who “loves his wife for her personality” and some other bullshit. No. If a gay man truly loved a woman for her personality, they’d be best friends or he’d treat her like she’s his sister. If you’re bisexual, just come out and be done with it, and if you’re gay, then you have no desire for the opposite sex whatsoever.

What does 5% vs 50/50 mean though? If you can fall in love with both men & women then surely you're 100% bisexual. If you can only fall for one, you're 0% bisexual. Where is there even a possibility of a spectrum there? I suspect that straight people just think if they watched gay porn once & didn't hate it, all of a sudden they don't consider themselves fully straight – if that was the metric, no one would be fully gay either. The difference is gay people don't think of themselves as a little straight if they were to ever watch straight porn for instance. The porn example is just an example, there are probably equivalent examples of these so-called breaches in heterosexuality that supposedly justify a bisexual self-categorisation.

It's only homophobic nowadays, when both partners are more than likely homosexuals. In the olden days lesbian-lesbian relationships would have been unlikely & the further back you go the less likely it would have been possible. Populations were just too small.

The fact that many societies only treat effeminate gay men & masculine lesbians as gay & not the "straight acting" ones, seems to confirm this origin of "third gender" as homosexual in origin. There are societies that label all gay people a "third gender", but then differentiate between the gender conforming & cross-gender conforming ones.

I either watched or read something a while back that featured a women who I think was a founding member of the GLF or Stonewall (maybe both?). She's not very high profile compared to the founding men but she is currently a TRA. She was talking about HIV and the lack of acknowledgement that lesbians in the community were at risk because some of them slept with gay men. It was a very old interview so she meant lesbians in the true sense and she was referencing the height of the AIDs crisis. It's the only time I've heard someone bring that up and I don't know how true it is, she inferred that it was taboo but more common place that people realised.

I wonder if that is the sort of thinking behind the statement or at least part of it? I can't remember where it was to link to but it stuck in my mind because the idea of gay men and lesbian women having sex with each other out of comfort or convenience hadn't ever occurred to me. I wasn't an adult in the 80s/90s and I don't move in those circles so I still don't know what to make of it.

Men still make jokes in the workplace at times that a woman who is sharp towards them must be having "that time of the month" (notice that, even here, men are using a euphemism).

Little do they know that PMS affects women in different ways and accounts very little (or none) for her behaviour. You can respond to them "what's wrong, can't handle a bit of hurt feelings" or something like that, they think they can put the focus of their problems on you, put the focus of their problem at them by implying they're whingy little bitches.

It's males like those that hold those views are part of why I'm so cautious about dating (I haven't dated anyone before and haven't had sex with anyone) as someone who tends to experience the horny type of PMS (and goddamnit when I get it, it's distractingly strong). True, I'm verbose for maximum clarity and expression. Perhaps I'm even good at it. But I know I'm not the best researcher and wouldn't know where to begin improving to go above mere skeptic to meet the rigorous levels that should be required for all journalists, not just the counter-narratives under fire. Nor do I really want to commit to learning, like coding. I already have an established (and underutilized) skill set that I aim to utilize once all this platform stuff has momentum.

Perfect example: I showed my IG Pedophocracy articles to someone in our group and she pointed out a glaring oversight. It's not wrong, but it could have been better presented. I can explain if you're interested, but for brevity I'll omit it.

Yes, whatever. I don't want to spam SaidIt. It's not a thick paper. I'd be surprised if there were 15 articles. They can't all be good. I suspect the publicity would be good for them, and perhaps some folks here or beyond may want to get one delivered. I think they'll be collectable relics one day. But I'm weird and own a BooHoo Bible.

Decentralization priority trumps my STABs avoidance efforts.

3) No sub chaos. I want community discussion on orderly sub development by committee consensus. The hierarchical Wikipedia categories are the best I've seen to emulate if possible.

[–]casparvoneverec [score hidden]  (0 children)

Gays have always existed and always will. They should not be persecuted for being gay but it should also be understood that this lifestyle is sterile, prone to self harm, diseases and excess. Gay men are 1.5-2% of the population yet 75% of AIDS cases and 47% of pedophiles.

The average gay man has sex with over a thousand people in his lifetime and they have a subculture called bug chasing where they willingly give each other aids.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugchasing

Thus there should be some limits on them. If two or multiple gay men are doing their thing discreetly, away from the public eye, I have no issue with them. However, they cannot be allowed to preach or advocate for this lifestyle. They cannot engage in homosexual acts in public like two men kissing. They cannot be permitted to solicit or groom non homosexuals and absolutley not kids.

And of course they cannot be allowed to adopt kids and should be barred from professions where people deal with kids like teachers, coaches and so on.

As for trannies...a hard no.

These people are mentally ill and their delusions should be entertained in the slightest. They literally can't accept reality and seek to engage in self mutliation an dother sorts of perversions.

RICHARD SPENCER & ED DUTTON | Against Education | RADIX LIVE | 21-06-07 by Ethnocrat in debatealtright

[–]casparvoneverec [score hidden]  (0 children)

One of the rare times when Spencer is correct.

My policy would be more nuanced:

Have no public school system. Local communes/communities decide their education system or homeschool. However, in order to apply for college, you must pass two tests. The first would be an IQ test. There would be a cut off score and no one beneath this would be allowed to go to college.

After passing this test, there should be a more comprehensive test that gauges student's abilities in science, math, history and civics. This is to ensure that kids don't end up learning nothing during their childhood. People with college aspirations thus would be forced to attain a minimum level of proficiency in these topics.

Those who pass these exams would then be allowed to apply for colleges. But the college system in turn would be fully public. No private unis. The bulk of the colleges would be science and engineering, medical unis. Their task would be train the next generation of technical professionals like Engineers and doctors and further advance science. These colleges should be fully free and funded by the state.

In addition, there should be a very small number of liberal arts and humanities colleges. Perhaps one or two specialized humanities universities. Only a few scholarly minded and gifted people would be allowed in here to maintain proficiency in these fields and advance them further. There's no need for hundreds of thousands of english graduates, a few hundred or 1 thousand is sufficient.

They can maintain the needed knowledge and innovate further.

As for the rest of the population, they would either go to technical schools like mechanics, electrician or nurse or go into physical labor or business.

There is zero need for 40% of the population to go to college. Only 5-10% of jobs if even that actually require technical knowledge so sophisticated that it mandates 4-6 years of education. An office secretary doesn't need a masters to their job. In the past secretaries generally lacked college degrees and they did fine.

The state should actively control the number of college graduates via the IQ test. If the estimates are that roughly 10% of the population need to go to college to fill the technical posts, then the cut off IQ should be set at 120 as 90% of people fall beneath that.

If its 5% then raise the cutoff to 125. If 15%, then drop it to 115.

This method would prevent elite overproduction, curb the excessive ambition that leads to low birth rates and depression and hyper conformist corporate behavior and prevent midwits and imbeciles from clogging the universities and draining it of vitality.

A 130+ IQ physics student should not have to deal with midwit gender studies grads.

Lol.

I think it's the opposite, and more projection from the gender side. Being trans or nonbinay is a trauma response to mental illness or traumatic event. Chopping off healthy body parts or taking hormones es an extreme and invasive trauma response to deal with it like cutting or starving yourself. You are not going to even think of doing this if you feel just fine and your life is fine.

Most people, not just straight, express themselves just fine. Most people are fine with being themselves and don't have this bollocks of "gender identity" to deal with. Just because a lot of people don't have green hair or dress like a child that went through trunks of clothes in grandmas attic or don't want to fuck people pretending to be another sex does not mean they don't have self expression or that they are traumatised.

I have no issue with the Same-Sex marriage. If they want to larp as husband and wife, more power to them. They'll probably end up divorced anyway.

Which devalues the custom of marriage and signals that such degeneracy is, at least, moderately respectable.

Homosexuality, to a certain degree, is something that will need to be endured because it cannot be fully purged from society. But even ‘soft’ institutional support for it is repugnant and undesirable.

I haven't researched if homosexuality in itself is associated with pedophilia, but the academics and activists who popularize LGBT definitely are. Famous gender theorists (John Money, Pat Califia, Shulamith Firestone, Gayle Rubin, Judith Butler...) advocated or defended pedophilia and/or incest. LGBT media activists, shows, personalities or events are oddly preoccupied with children as we all know (Desmond is Amazing, Drag Queen Story Hour, Blues' Clues, all of those teaching materials and LGBT agitprop classes and media aimed at kids, the push for transgender surgeries for children...). Some radfem sites (e.g. womenarehuman) also have sources regarding the link between transgenderism and pedophilia (or rape in general). In any case, I don't see why the dissident right should support LGBT since it's inextricably linked with other progressivist ideologies.

Taking a stand: I told my gynecologist to take "transgender" off of sex options by BEB in GenderCritical

[–]TheOnyxGoddess 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Then, when I got to see the gynecologist, who was the best I've seen yet, I started my gender critical spiel.

I began with the new patient form I'd filled out, asking her whether she really considered biological sex changeable. She said the office had put the option of claiming transgender on the form to be considerate of transgenders. I attempted to explain why normalizing the idea that men could identify into womanhood was so dangerous for women.

Afterwards, I specifically talked about the dangers of girls being sucked into the transgender craze, thinking that she, as a gynecologist, has probably noticed.

She was obviously very intelligent, and listened for a bit, but the minute I mentioned that the Biden administration was behind the changes in law, she shut off, snapped that the office was "free of politics" and then continued with the examination as if I hadn't said anything at all.

I'm going to be honest with you, it's pretty reasonable for her to shut you down there. Her talking about politics can get her more in trouble as it's not related to medicine and it's purely political. She can explain why there're stupid changes to forms, and listen to you talk about the gender delusions, but the longer you talk, the more she has to listen and try to refrain from stating her opinion which can affect how she does her job (or if she can keep her job or not if it gets out that she has an unpopular opinion about any party). She may not even be in any position to afford a potential lost or attack by stating her opinion unlike other people (e.g. Toronto University's professor Jordan Peterson).

By the looks of your post, you're conversation with her seems largely one-sided with you talking and her just listening. She probably tried to refrain from stating her thoughts as that could put her in a "bias" frame and can cause some issues with the job. This issue is not unique to the medical industry, when you're working in customer service, you can't openly state your political, religious thoughts lest you are fine with losing your job.

From what I understand medical pratcitioners and medical companies are trying to take the path of least resistance because they want to get their job done, they're after money. It doesn't really indicate if your gynecologist is a GenderCritical, a TRA or support Biden.

Although if it's their personal private practice that they own and not part of a larger company, then I would suspect they are TRA while trying to look politically neutral (though they could easily have GenderCritical views, but care more about money than trying to actively counter the TRA delusion). If they're part of a larger company and are simply employed there by someone else, then you don't really know. Go for a practice which is privately owned and run by a medical practitioner who doesn't have those stupid things on their forms if you can, less likely those that don't follow popular social trends are more likely to not care or support TRA stuff. You don't actually know their beliefs unless they state their beliefs to you outside of the professional environment.

"What the science suggests is that all women get turned on by other women, at least a little bit."

Not sure I would describe it that way. Female sexuality sure seems fluid. You have women like Kate Pearson who were into men mostly for decades then gomlesbian. I heard Dr Drew (I know) say while having Ray Oldhafer on that menopausal women going lesbian seems to be repeatable men as they get tired of men. I do know men do not work that. Should circumstance turn me into the most raving, homicidal misogynist, I will still be repulsed by the idea of being with men sexually.

"This includes a lot of other things, particularly identities which have been invented very recently and really don't have any actual meaning."

Not sure, and it does not really matter. proves that social and cultural factors do weigh heavily.

"Right, pop divas... where could you go wrong?"

Yeah, I get it, that stuff is certainly decadent, but in that particular manifestation not all that bad, particularly compared with contemporary figures like Katy Perry, Ariane Brand etc, whose lyrics and imagery are downright scandalous (whereas Deborah Harry was just sexy but still had some class about her, even as she failed to become a mother sadly). Six year old boys should probably not be exposed to it, or maybe they should in a modified way.

To be sure, I was being a bit flippant about Deborah Harry, but when compared with what is going on today with gays getting to our kids and really regardless I think it is healthy for boys to understand what desirable women are (within certain boundaries) and this is something you should be drawn to. I imagine same thing for girls when they see a cowboy in an advertisement or a firefighter or other male figure.

He does rely on anecdotal evidence but also expresses doubt how a gay gene would carry since gays cannot naturally have children unless they override their natural sexual preferences for procreation.

There's a plausible genetic explanation, and for "simply gay" it's pretty straightforward: the same gene that would cause men to be strongly attracted to men would also cause women to be strongly attracted to men - and this causes enough of a boost to the number of children a woman has for that gene to persist.

the evidence that homosexuality tendencies--particularly in women--are greatly influenced by sociological and cultural factors is pretty clear

What the science suggests is that all women get turned on by other women, at least a little bit.

Something like 16 percent of Zoomers--ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM--identify as gay.

This includes a lot of other things, particularly identities which have been invented very recently and really don't have any actual meaning.

This is because homosexuality is encouraged and celebrated in this sick culture.

but so far I've seen little evidence that homosexuality is acquired or associated with pedophilia.

Right-winger Devon Stack is adamant this is the case. He did a livestream with Ramzpaul that is now only on bitchute. It is well worth a listen. He does rely on anecdotal evidence but also expresses doubt how a gay gene would carry since gays cannot naturally have children unless they override their natural sexual preferences for procreation. It is not as simple as that though because there is some indication that women who have kids later in life or have lots of kids (and the youngest later in life), there is greater association of homosexuality in those male offspring because there is a testosterone deficiency in the "bath" that the fetus is immersed in during incubation. Also happens a lot with maternal male twins, with one twin having less testosterone. If you go to his Insomnia stream last Thursday, he talks about how social mores have really slipped drastically in the past 30 years, as we went from "don't say gay" to Blues Clues Drag Queen Singing, Drag Queen Story Hour etc.

LGBT discussion (science, morality, history) by Fonched in debatealtright

[–]Richard_Parker [score hidden]  (0 children)

I will admit that I only read part of this thread outright, skimming other parts. Concerning whether homosexuality is genetic or created from environmental and cultural factors, it is not a simple, binary either or proposition.

There is some evidence that the older a woman gets, or more boys she has, the more likelihood the youngest son is gay because of problems with the "testosterone" bath that a male fetus is immersed in during incubation. This also happens a great deal with identical twins.

On the other hand, the evidence that homosexuality tendencies--particularly in women--are greatly influenced by sociological and cultural factors is pretty clear, and pretty clear with but a cursory look at the culture and current social mores. Since the 90s, with normalization of porn in society, including girl-girl, threesomes, things like Girls Gone Wild, the prevalence of bisexualty in women from Generation Down has increased persisently. The social pressures which normalize this, make it a key feature in desirable, hypergamous women to allure the most socially dominant males are evident for all to see. None of this things can seriously be argued by anyone. I do not need studies to prove any of the statements above, as these things are as prevalent and as obvious as the fact that people are usually having sex before marriage.

We also have hard data. Something like 16 percent of Zoomers--ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM--identify as gay. This is because homosexuality is encouraged and celebrated in this sick culture. This is on the heels of the remarkable way in which LGB+ have been more ostentacious and obnoxious, replete with drag queen story hour, childrens books and childrens programs etc. Correlation does not always mean causation but there can be no other rational explanation in this instance.

While men seem more hard-wired to be either homosexual or heterosexual (most gay men I have known have identifed as such since an earlier age), and while it is true straight men have a hard-coded, visceral reaction to seeing men make out or being exposed to images of gay sex, I am not even sure is immune from social conditioning at an early age.

I will disclose that my earliest memories of sexual desire include seeing Deborah Harry in Blondie videos when I was six or seven in first grade. I also though Lady Di was really beautiful wanted to kiss her (this was in early 80s). I really believe that seeing images of Deborah Harry, probably not entirely appropriate for a small boy, set the course for the hardwiring I now have. I cannot say with any real assurance that a similar boy would be similarly effected by seeing some gay at a gay pride. Given how widespread pederasty and bisexuality in men was in certain Ancient civilizations, I believe men too are subject to social and cultural conditioning.

For that reason, I want young boys exposed to things like Deborah Harry--still suggestive but decent enough. Keep the fag shit under wraps, in the closet.

Even if cremations are going up it's on you to connect that directly to covid which you have not done.

Because we have photos leading right up to the event, of Indians doing what scientists explicitly warned against. Don't gather in large groups.

https://www.jhunewsletter.com/article/2020/03/public-health-experts-explain-the-science-behind-social-distancing

And in the 1 in a millionth chance you get the idea that no one can get sick from being together, you have to explain how does any virus get transmitted across borders? Covid can't build a boat, swim across the ocean, and fly into my house. It only spreads when someone who is positive for the disease spreads their droplets to another person.

https://www.publichealthontario.ca/-/media/documents/ncov/covid-wwksf/2020/12/routes-transmission-covid-19.pdf?la=en

This is rhetoric. The 2 party system in the United States is a Jew created distraction from the reality of what's going on in the world. Every comment you make comes from a place where you revert back to the Jew simulacrum. You never address this or argue against it. You just go back to talking points.

If Jews want me and my family to live, what am I suppose to do? That's the side I'm trying to represent. The desire to live. But if someone is anti-vax or is pro sneezing in other people's faces with no mask, they are fighting for the complete opposite.

Lol. This is one of the most braindead statement I've seen you make. First you again assume we are in a pandemic (we are not; stop using the jew marketing technique of repeating the lie and hoping it sets in the targets brain; that won't work here). Second you assume only vaccines can end pandemics. That's just historically and scientifically wrong. I don't understand how any good faith educated person could make such a dumb statement.

All other options at trying to contain the virus have ended in failure. Using India again, a lot of people broke their vows and decided to get together when it was never recommended to do so. They ended up depleting their entire national supply of oxygen and had to start begging other countries for donations. The "do nothing" approach just pisses off regular folk who don't have the luxury of working from home and putting themselves at risk of getting sick.

Think of every outbreak that happens at School, Hospitals, or even vital infrastructure like meat plants?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/cargill-high-river-outbreak-1.5904444

That's why denial is utter most dangerous. You can't fake a pandemic without forcing businesses to close because they literally represent a health violation. You wouldn't eat beef that was contaminated with mad cow, yet why are we running factories and meat shops with infected workers? These same people usually ride public transit, which makes spreading the virus all the more dangerous to the rest of society.

With Vaccines, it's proven to drop infection rates. Lower numbers = less chances the virus has at spreading. No more virus means re-opening carries no risk.

Again you are trying to steer the conversation to talking points about 'conservatives bad'. We aren't conservatives here. We demonstrate and say this to you almost daily. What does Bolsonoro have to do with the points I brought up two comments up the chain? Your behavior here is highly suspicious.

His viewpoints [on the virus] literally line up with your beliefs. He doesn't have to be far-right to still say stuff like the virus is fake and the government should do nothing to stop it. The results of this unhealthy skepticism has been a disaster for Brazil. If anything, this is another point in a long list of why I'm correct so far. We don't have real world examples of ignoring Covid = countries become more prosperous or do better.

Even in Canada, it's still fresh in my mind when companies in the beginning of 2020, were ok with sending employees directly to the frontlines with no protection. The results were downright lethal.

https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/ontario-long-term-care-nurses-make-shocking-allegations-about-access-to-ppe-during-pandemic-1.4907563

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/canada-record-covid-19-deaths-wealthy-countries-cihi-1.5968749

Again, what was denying the virus suppose to prove in these scenarios? Nurses and even old people were slaughtered because they were told to just deal with it, rather than protect themselves. A complete and unnecessary waste of life.

The dissident right does not know exactly why the vaccine was created. We can only make inferences based on how the anti white ruling elites have acted in the past and present. We can look at safety data coming out. We can look at the rushed process. We can look at strange changes to vaccine liability laws. We can look at excessive think tank 'practice' with a pandemic. We can look at the track records of the people promoting the virus (gates in africa?). We can look at the creater of MRNA technology who said he was concerned about suppression of hydroxycholoriquine and ivermectin effectiveness recently on Bret Weinstein's podcast. We can look at other blunders by big pharma in the past. We can look at how irresponsible health officials have been. We can look at the lies with the HIV/AIDs 'pandemic'. We can look at Fauchi's recent emails. And the list goes on of the evidence we can gather that shows us there is something very wrong and very dangerous with this vaccine.

From the beginning, wouldn't an anti-white leadership only hand out vaccines to white people? What kind of drug is this when every race is expected to get it? You said you look at the safety data, but I'm looking at it too. In fact, everyone who is approached for a vaccine are given fact sheets asking if they suffer from allergies or have any pre-existing conditions.

https://www.fda.gov/media/144413/download

That's just one example, but they're not hiding anything. They even give a breakdown of how most people got the vaccine but only an extreme minority felt sick afterwards.

Serious adverse events from Dose 1 through up to 30 days after Dose 2 in ongoing follow-up were reported by 0.4% of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine recipients and by 0.1% of placebo recipients. There were no notable patterns or numerical imbalances between treatment groups for specific categories of serious adverse events that would suggest a causal relationship to Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.

But it's crazy to get hung up on these numbers, in the same way you can still have incidents of people dying from operative surgery.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK333498/

Studies from high-income countries (HICs) confirm high rates of postoperative mortality and high variability in those rates. In the Netherlands, a review of 3.7 million inpatient surgical procedures at 102 hospitals over 15 years reveals a perioperative mortality rate of 1.85 percent (Noordzij and others 2010). A similar inpatient surgical death rate has been noted in the United States, with all-cause postoperative mortality in 2006 estimated to be 1.14 percent to 1.32 percent (Semel and others 2012; Weiser and others 2011). Pearse and others (2012) studied the outcomes of one week of inpatient surgery (excluding cardiac, neurosurgical, radiological, and obstetric procedures) in 498 hospitals in 28 European countries. The in-hospital crude postoperative mortality ranged from 1.2 percent in Iceland to 21.5 percent in Latvia. After adjusting for patient age, the American Society of Anesthesiologists’s score of patient fitness for surgery, the urgency of surgery, the extent of surgery (minor, intermediate, or major), the specialty, and the presence of metastatic disease or cirrhosis, the odds ratios for death following surgery—using the United Kingdom as reference—ranged from a low of 0.44 in Finland to a high of 6.92 in Poland (figure 16.1). Overall, the researchers noted a 4 percent in-hospital crude mortality rate in this sample of more than 46,000 surgical cases, a previously unreported and unexpectedly high number.

No brain surgeon is intentionally trying to kill their patient, they're doing the best they can to save them. A vaccine serves the exact same purpose. It is offering life saving protection against a global virus.

Just calling this medicine dangerous when we don't even have pictures of bodies being piled up the same way Indians are cremating themselves in mass is just being naïve. I assume you must have a cellphone or camera of some sort. It should be very easy to go outside and locate any evidence of people dying having received both their first and second jabs. Otherwise, what's there to actually profess or warn against?

You assume elites are in it for 'capital' and economic benefit. No. They are in it for control. They are in it for long term mastery of the planet and all it's resources and by resources they mean non jews as resources as well. Non jews are not considered human. They are cattle to Jews. They seek to bring the world population to under 500 million in balance with 'nature'. The do not want to govern or lead the planet they want to be Gods who are above the masses of lower beings.

My advice is no genocidal regime in history would put that much faith in medicine that has saved more lives than it could possibly kill. It's the equivalent of saying you can dominate the world by performing CPR and celebrating the people who didn't get resuscitated. There are more constructive means of population control, and it either relies on famines, armies, or weapons of mass destruction.

If someone is 5% gay or 5% straight - they are bisexual. They don't need to act on it, but it is who they are, and they will have harder time understanding exclusive same-sex or opposite-sex attraction.

documentary

It is pretty homophobic point of view, pushed by society. That homosexuality is performative, and that it is not just same-sex attraction. I lived in a country where homosexuality was outlawed, and such view was (and somewhat still is) the main view on homosexuality. That only either "manly" or "ugly" women who "can't find a man because of their own flaws" are becoming lesbians, and they are pretending to be men to date women. And that only one who is "filling male role in relationship" is lesbian, other woman is not. Which is ridiculous, because it is way too heteronormative, lesbians are two women - we need no "man" in relationship. Same is with gay men - that only "more feminine one, or who is filling women's role" and one "who is penetrated" are gays. In USSR man who loves men and raped them would not be considered as gay, but his victim will be stigmatized as gay, even if he don't like men and was forcibly raped. That view is saying htat "nice looking" or "feminine" women who exclusively loving women are not lesbians, not homosexual. It is just homophobic view of old society, which was adopted by self-hatred and tries to adapt to society - as it was the only way for lesbians to be together without being prosecuted or shamed. I had such self hatred because of homophobia in society too, and I tried "to be a man" at few points in life, as I wanted to be free like men and seen as a human being, and because my homosexuality put me in troubles (like I got fired from job, beaten and almost "correctively" raped, etc). Lesbian, gay and bisexual are not a performative roles, it is sexualities. All you need to be lesbian is to be female and exclusively love and be attracted to females, does not matter how you look, how you act or how you think.

BOTH: Recently the following claim was made: "Being cis and straight is a trauma response". Do you agree with this claim? by ISaidWhatISaid in GCdebatesQT

I get what this person is trying to say. I think labeling yourself as "trans" is a trauma response to the harshness and rigidity of gender roles. Gendered socialization is harmful and traumatic to many people, especially children who do not fit into rigid boxes. But no one is "cis." There are people who recognize that gender is bullshit, and people who think that gendered socialization means that non-trans people agree or feel affinity with their natal sex stereotypes.

Since I'm not a researcher/reporter, I doubt I'll ever feel confident enough to write for it

Sure you are. Every goddamn thing you write is an essay. Not that you should shift your focus or anything, just saying.

Since each month's paper has many stories, I could post one story a day on SaidIt or whatever.

A+++, or just post the 3 most excellent stories

2) I don't want random-anons. Known-anons are welcome. Request, referenced, or invited only (until user-category filters are developed, if ever).

I don't know if this one is do-able. I'll see if Lemmy supports it. Invite or admin created accounts only.

3) No sub chaos. I want community discussion on orderly sub development by committee consensus. The hierarchical Wikipedia categories are the best I've seen to emulate if possible.

I don't know if this one is do-able. I'll see if Lemmy supports it, only admins can create subs.

5 through 10

A perfect example of what I'm not volunteering. These are all hard and require hours of studying the lemmy code and ActivityPub federation* before you can even start.

At the very least I can still get the old "(I Know Why You're) Semper Fi" video I hacked in Flash

The frustrating thing is that it doesn't have to be this way. It doesn't have to be one side against the other. In a better world, people would be talk to talk about these issues and agree on compromises. It really upsets me that there is no moderation, no compromise, no debate, no discussion.

Well thank goodness. I am a bit distracted with other things at the moment, and therefore not so quick on the uptake.

Well, if there are, the mainstream media will make sure we never hear about them.

Ideally we become masters over technology rather than slaves. Technological progress currently has control of us rather than the reverse. Think of technology like drugs. Some are okay in moderation, some can be tolerated everyday(caffeine), others need to be completely rejected. Right now the only technology we consider "bad" is weapons but destructive potential of technology is far more than just weapons.

Well, wouldn't many trans people supposedly be 100% comfortable as the opposite gender? And since we know absolutely that a trans person is 100% the gender they identify as, then it must be the case that they are completely comfortable with the gender they "are" because they are supposedly the gender they identify as.

Oh wait, you can't make such pathetic definitions for shit and expect any logical application to work properly

Reddit is just kind of a sex toy, but Swartz also planted the seeds of Sci-Hub. For that he may be remembered for all of history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sci-Hub
