Quarantined Subreddits (Reddit)

Quarantined subreddits on Reddit are subs which are deemed controversial by the Reddit admins. These subs are usually on a thin line of being banned entirely. Subs which are quarantined are treated differently from your average sub. The following differences are listed below.

• Quarantined subs do not appear on r/all or r/popular.

• The subscriber count is hidden from view.

• You cannot access quarantined subs through mobile or the Reddit app.

• A warning displays every time you attempt to access the subreddit.

• You cannot subscribe to the subreddit through normal means.
