Unnecessarily mean and misinformed of you. Who pissed in your Weetabix? Yes, Saidit's beloved Daily Mail would certainly headline 'Down's syndrome Nashville shooter' because the click-bait tabloid has no credibility or humaine interest. But a responsible, credible newspaper would appreciate that the reason for a Down's syndrome person shooting other people would certainly not be related to the person's Down's syndrome. (Down's syndrome people are also much nicer than we are, assuming there's a small chance you don't have Down's syndrome.) Responsible, credible news media would not want to show itself as a misleading tabloid by calling attention to irrelevant information that might unfairly discriminate against a group of people who aren't related to mass shootings. Yes, news media of all kinds have already put in their reports that the Nashville shooter HAPPENED to be transgender (so your support of the racist, hateful scum Oyveygoyim and redstate.com is foolish at best), and other news media would note Down's syndrome, but the trans or Down's conditions should obviously not be implied as imortant reasons for mass shootings. In the US everyone has very easy access to assault rifles, and more than 50% will be diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder at some point in their lifetime. 1 in 5 Americans will experience a mental illness in a given year.. Mass shoootings have also become a way for Americans to make themselves instantly famous worldwide. On average, there are 132 suicides per day in the US. And more Americans died of gun-related injuries in 2020 than in any other year on record. And since 2012, gun-related assault deaths have increased 45%. Suicide deaths involving guns have increased 28%, while assault deaths have increased 80% since 2012. In 2021, both suicide and assault deaths increased 8%.. And since 2000, gun-related homicides have doubled in the US, whereas gun-related suicides have been up by 150%. Moreover, Republicans say religion helps gun violence.. We should consider all of these factors in the US (and we can find much more). the fact that the Nashville shooter was transgender was obviously an ANOMALY, as would have been the case with a Down's syndrome shooter, and should not be emphasized as a key factor in the shooting, so as not to imply that transgender or Down's syndrome people have a tendency to commit mass murders.
