Modern activists are the ones who saw acceptance of their minority and came to the realization that if their group is accepted in society, then the gravy train is over. That's not how inflation works. (I told you to have someone explain this to you.) For example, recall Trump and Repug-led Congress giving $10 trillion primarily ot the top 5%, which meant that the US was an additional $10 Trillion in debt to China. Consider also that Trump made COVID so much worse by supporting conspiracy theories about it and calling it a hoax, while letting anyone enter the US who had COVID for several months. THis cost the US immensely. 2/3rds of the economy is supported by purchases. Small businesses failed because of COVID and no sales. In Trump's last years the US had no growth and massive debt, which meant that the inflation rate was low. In order to recover from the Trump admin/congress fuckery, the Biden Admin and Dems created job growth (which continues), better salaries, massive infrastructure improvements, better investment, GDP growth in general and this rapid growth resulted in higher inflation and interest rates (which the Federal Reserve sets at a higher rate in order to reduce growth and inflation). Since that time of brief high inflation, which was NECESSARY because of the Trump cronies, the inflation rate has reduced dramatically, now to 2.4%, which is remarkably low by any standard. The US currently has the best economy in many years.
