President Trump also unveiled our country's Global Health Security Strategy about 6 months before Covid became public. It was a all-of-America effort in creation which was the culmination of decades of similar efforts and took years to produce, its self (ie Trump had little or no input into it).

The US got serious about it when the Obama Admin seriously botched handling multiple major outbreaks. There were about 5 serious ones on his watch and many of them could have been devastating to the nation and human race, but we got lucky;very lucky. The US leadership woke-up to this danger and started planning to handle health emergencies better (at least in their view).

The GHSS's focus was an all-of-government response, public-private partnerships, and proactive partnerships abroad.

Whether it was used and worked well or not during Covid, is anyone's guess. We were so heavily deceived bout how things were going, what we could do to help ourselves, and who did what, due to the contentious political rivalry, that even our Covid reliefs bill was shamefully blocked, stalled, and manipulated for partisan politics.

We saw bipartisan support for Senate Covid relief bills, blocked at the last minute with a nod from Polosi, then stalled for a painful week with lame tricks. That one DNC trick, as if they have no others, where they pack a bill with crazy nonsense and publicly lament why their political rivals won't support it for a news cycle or two, then removed the nonsense, back to the original Senate bill, resubmit it and it sails through....yet they shamefully claim full credit, pretending it was against their rivals' obstruction. Nothing like petty politics during a global pandemic.

Biden promptly dump Obama and America's GHSS, due to it being released by Trump. Like the House DNC's political trickery with Covid relief bills at the cost of American lives, Biden replaced it with a near identical one and attempted to take full credit.

I mean, it's entirely dependent on userbase right? As long as the UI and the actual site itself remains stable it's likely a matter of time before certain communities decide to set up shop here. Right now not that many people use saidit so it's pretty limited.
