Yep - and Trump asked for Russian hackers to get Hillary's and Hunter's online data, along with the data of others.

It was thanks to Trump and Russian hackers that Hunter's private emails and photos at his iCloud account were published.

Anyone on the Hill with the usual clearance to receive sucurity updates at the appropriate times would know this and would appreciate Biden's comment that his son was targeted, for two misdemeanours that normally result in fines.

In terms of presidential pardons, there is an interesting list of them in US history. Any father should have done this for his son.

As for father-in-laws, Jared Kushner should have been investigated for his receipt of $2 billion from Saudi Arabia, and the national secrets (as well as nuclear secrets, as some have claimed?) he sold SA, as well as what Jared gave the Chinese who spent billions on Kushner properties

Yes, I can provide historical information about presidential pardons in the U.S. Presidents have used this power, granted by the Constitution (Article II, Section 2), to pardon individuals convicted of federal crimes or to commute their sentences. Here's a summary of key moments in the history of presidential pardons:

1. Early Use

  • George Washington issued the first pardons in 1795, granting clemency to participants in the Whiskey Rebellion.
  • John Adams pardoned individuals involved in the Fries Rebellion.

2. Civil War and Reconstruction

  • Abraham Lincoln frequently used pardons to foster reconciliation during the Civil War.
  • Andrew Johnson issued broad amnesties to former Confederate soldiers and officials during Reconstruction.

3. Famous 20th-Century Pardons

  • Warren G. Harding pardoned Eugene V. Debs, a socialist leader jailed for opposing World War I.
  • Gerald Ford granted a controversial pardon to Richard Nixon for any crimes he may have committed during the Watergate scandal.
  • Jimmy Carter pardoned thousands of Vietnam War draft evaders in 1977.

4. Controversial Modern Pardons

  • Bill Clinton issued 140 pardons on his last day in office, including one for Marc Rich, a fugitive financier. This was criticized for its apparent ties to political donations.
  • Donald Trump granted pardons to high-profile figures like Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and others connected to his administration.

Patterns and Criticisms

  • Presidents often issue pardons near the end of their terms.
  • Pardons have sometimes sparked accusations of favoritism, political motivations, or abuse of power.

Instead of embracing freedom, Americans love tyranny more.

Since the government has destroyed the economy, Americans accept welfare and think that the state is their protector.

Once tyranny and brainwashing wins, people love their chains and will never love freedom again.

8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. 9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.
12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. 13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; 14 Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. Judah's Idolatry Persists 16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. 17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? 20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.
21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh. 22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: 23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. 24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

The symbology in the words we use kind of implies this. The american school system usually starts with kinder-garden then 12 grades for the 12 zodiac signs. While in the garden Adam and Eve learned from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and realized that they were naked and then were kicked out. This can be interpreted much differently if reading the Talmud and what it says concerning sex with a toddler not being sex while under a certain age.

'Ridiculously smooth': James Webb telescope spies unusual pancake-like disk around nearby star Vega — and scientists can't explain it.

Vega is a bluish colored star about twice as massive as the Sun and located at a distance of about 25 light-years from Earth and is therefore rather near to the Sun. By its large mass Vega is predicted to be short-lived. The radius and mass of the Vega are roughly twice those for the Sun so that surface gravity is 1/2 of that for the Sun and average density is 1/4:th of that for the Sun. Vega is .5 billion years old, which is roughly 1/10 shorter than the age of the Sun and its planetary system, believed to have condensed simultaneously from a proto disk 4.6 billion years ago. Due to its fast spin, the close proximity to Earth and the fact that its magnetic pole is pointed right at us, Vega appears very bright in the night sky. Vega is the fifth brightest star visible from Earth to the naked eye in the Northern sky.

Fastest-feeding' black hole of the early universe found. But does it break the laws of physics?) about the discovery is published in Nature.

This BH, cataloged as LID-568, found by the James Webb telescope, identified as dwarf blackhole, existed 1.5 billion years after the Big Bang. It should have gotten its mass of more than 7 million solar masses in 12 million years. The rate for its formation would have been 40 times too high. General Relativity poses an upper limit for the rate with which a blackhole can consume matter, known as the Eddington limit (see this). The limit describes the balance between the rate of the infalling matter and the rate of the radiation produced by the infall that then pushes back on the accreting matter. At the limit the feedback shuts down the accretion.

Objects thought to be black holes often differ in many respects from the black holes of general relativity. In particular, the giant BHs of the very early universe and BHs associated with quasars and the cores of galaxies do so. Star-born BHs could be ordinary blackholes but the giant BHs might be something different. Also the dwarf backhole found by JWST might be different. The basic mystery is why the giant BHs can be so large in the very early Universe if they are formed in the expected way. Do the BHs always grow by gobbling up matter from the environment? One hypothesis considers them as a gravastars, i.e. collapsars of so-called dark energy stars, i.e. dense clouds of charged interstellar gas (plasma) and dark matter.

The Egyptian Pyramids—Connection to Rain and Nile Flood Anomalie

This paper explores rain and Nile flood anomalies observed in Dynastic Egypt. The notion of the pyramids influencing weather takes its roots in the work of esteemed physicist Charles Wilson. It proposes that a combination of religious practices and pyramid function related to rainmaking played a significant role in influencing climatic conditions. To support the claims, the paper presents experimental results that provide empirical evidence. Finally, the paper concludes by presenting historical evidence that bolsters the proposed hypothesis, leveraging the facts about Egyptian civilization and its practices.

It is proposed that pyramids had a deeper purpose: they could be used to induce rain. In 1895, Charles Wilson, a physicist, meteorologist, and Nobel Prize winner proved that rain could be artificially created. The key idea in making rain is that a generation of the negative electric charge in the quartz contained by the soil leads to its accumulation to the atmosphere. The negative electric charge in the atmosphere in turn facilitates the formation of water droplets around them and eventually this induces rain. See also:

Were the Pyramids Nuclear Reactors? Pyramids could act like retro-reflectors of dark matter radiation concentrated by Earth and speeding up various processes including low energy nuclear reactions (potassium beta decay and others). Has anyone tested the Great Pyramid sarcophagus for Calcium-41 and Aluminium-26? Pyramid power effects patented by Czech radioamateour Karel Drbal allegedly require quite thorough orientation of pyramid body with respect to Earth axis.

[–]ZephirAWT[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Pseudoskepticism is a position that appears to be that of skepticism or scientific skepticism but in reality is a form of dogmatism. Marcello Truzzi attributed the following characteristics to pseudoskeptics::

  • Denying, when only doubt has been established
  • Double standards in the application of criticism
  • The tendency to discredit rather than investigate
  • Presenting insufficient evidence or proof
  • Assuming criticism requires no burden of proof
  • Making unsubstantiated counter-claims
  • Counter-claims based on plausibility rather than empirical evidence
  • Suggesting that unconvincing evidence provides grounds for completely dismissing a claim

Truzzi characterized true skepticism as:

  • Acceptance of doubt when neither assertion nor denial has been established
  • No burden of proof to take an agnostic position
  • Agreement that the corpus of established knowledge must be based on what is proved, but recognising its incompleteness
  • Even-handedness in requirement for proofs, whatever their implication
  • Accepting that a failure of a proof in itself proves nothing

Unexplained heat-wave 'hotspots' are popping up across the globe A new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences provides the first worldwide map of such regions. In recent years these heat waves have killed tens of thousands of people, withered crops and forests, and sparked devastating wildfires. Researchers have identified meanders in the northern hemisphere jet stream that can suck hot air from the south and cause massive heat waves across widespread regions of North America and Eurasia. But the phenomenon is not happening everywhere; the study shows that maximum temperatures across many other regions are actually lower than what models would predict.

The dodecahedral distribution of dark matter around Earth has its early predecessor in dodecahedral Earth hypothesis or Russian geologists, who connected the mantle plumes with geological artifacts at the surface or Earth. This dodecahedral geometry has been already observed from the Earth in large amplitude spectrum of CMBR. But it may not be the only geometry projected from Earth as many people already noted, that the geometry of continents reflects the geometry of CMBR fluctuations, which would assign the terrestrial origin to CMBR observations. So that there are still many hidden secrets in hyperdimensional geometry of Universe and AdS/CFT correspondence in it. See also:

Analysing the 2021 North American heatwave to understand extraordinary heat events Investigating the unprecedented 2021 heatwave in the North American Pacific Northwest revealed that a complex interaction between atmospheric dynamics, soil moisture and temperature nonlinearly amplified the event beyond a five-sigma anomaly.

Can flights hit net zero by 2025 and at what cost to passengers? by ZephirAWT in ScienceUncensored

Can flights hit net zero by 2025 and at what cost to passengers? This is an oxymoron: net zero for environment always implies zero cost for passengers, there is no other way around. A French economist Gaël Giraud (who dissents from most liberal "renewables" pushing economists from good reason) explains that GdP growth is mostly energy(google translated) and most of GdP growth is linked to the capacity to use energy.

Here are English slides about his stance (more info).

According to this paradigm it doesn't matter how smart you are and how clever your energy technology is: until it's more expensive than fossil fuel energy, then it also consumes more energy on background and it must be subsidized by economy based on cheaper technology (guess which one it is) - which also means, it increases the consumption of fossil fuels on background.

In similar way, it doesn't matter how advanced your electric car is: once its ownership and operation including recycling consumes more money that this one of gasoline car - then it's the electric car which wastes the natural resources and fossil fuels - not classical one. And so on.. Bisons in America were free for natives only because they were truly renewable.

3D-printed particles propel themselves across the surface of a fluid about study 3D-Printed Marangoni-Driven Active Particles at an Interface

Prior research has shown that droplets with a surface tension lower than the surface tension of surrounding fluid will spread rather than mixing, a phenomenon known as the Marangoni effect. A drop of alcohol in a cup of water, for example, will spread across the surface rather than mix with the water and it remains until it evaporates. In this new effort, the research team used this effect to create self-propelling particles.

Harris never led Trump, internal polls showed — but DNC officials were kept in the dark A top aide to Vice President Kamala Harris during her presidential campaign recently revealed that internal polls never actually saw her defeating President-elect Donald Trump, but apparently this was not conveyed to those collecting high-dollar donations for her bid. "That's not what we were told," DNC National Finance Committee member and Harris campaign fundraiser Lindy Li shared with Fox News Digital. "We were told definitely that she had a shot at winning – it wasn't even a shot. I was even told that Pennsylvania was looking good, that we would win 3-4 swing states."

Media lied not only the public, but even the election teams of Democrats.

If Trump wants to serve the Lord, he could have done some things the first time he was king of this nation:

  1. Reverse homosexual marriage.... which Obama legalized.
  2. Ban abortion and stop all funding for it.
  3. Repent for the poisonous injections pushed on Americans and on the whole world.
  4. Humble himself and repent for all the sins of our nation and the world.... Call for a fast and solemn assembly to pray to the Lord for mercy. Acknowledge publicly the Lord Jesus Christ. Remind the public what the Son of God did for all mankind (died on the cross to atone for our sins) and warn everyone of his impending return to judge the world.

While having a good strategy is important in Rummy, players must also be adaptable. The cards they are dealt with are often random, and the game changes quickly depending on the actions of others. This constant need to adjust to new situations fosters flexibility https://cardrummy.pro/ . Players learn that they may need to abandon a previously planned strategy and adopt a new one based on the changing dynamics of the game. This skill of adaptability is important both in games and in life, as it teaches individuals how to cope with unexpected situations or challenges.

The World's Rarest Mineral Is So Rare It's Only Ever Been Found Once by Questionable in Earth

[–]Nonbinaryandroid 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Anti matter isn't found so much as it's synthesized in a partical accelerator and needs to be kept suspended in a magnetic field to prevent it from coming into contact with matter.

As such you can at most only synthesize a few particles at a time and it is extremely expensive to produce and store. So it probably is the "most expensive material" humans can produce but it's practically worthless outside of research since doing literally anything with it destroys it. Also it's not necessarily "rare" as it's easy as fuck to make it's just expensive as fuck to do so and store it.

You smack particles together it gets made naturally. Cosmic ray collisions make it on earth all the time. All anti matter is is normal matter with an opposite electrical charge. Positrons instead of electrons basically. But since they attract matter and self annihilate as soon as they come into existence they basically get destroyed.

Looking at it with game theory sure. But let's think about that a bit.

Let's consider that if we allow trans women to play on the women's teams, and we consider that on average trans women perform superior at the sport to women.

Under such rules it's clear that even without teams forfeiting it's better to have trans women on your team if they are better players. Going a step further if there's no good limitation on who qualifies as a trans woman, it simply makes sense to just recruit men for the position anyway. Why have women's teams at all?

Even without forfeitures, it's clearly advantageous to let all players be trans women if they are better.

Ultimately thinking about things like game theory make a lot of assumptions though. One being that victory is the ideal state that everyone is striving for. One being that rules will generally be followed. And another being that people will actually participate.

In reality it's a bit more complicated. If I'm playing a game I can't win, I might just quit. Or if I'm really pissed off about it I might flip the board and scatter the pieces so nobody can play. Everyone hates me for this but do I care?

In terms of women's sports allowing men to compete totally removes any reason for having women's sports in the first place. Women who realize this are understandably angry about it and perfectly justified in flipping the board I think. The correct response I think is to make that threat.

Refusing to play is making the threat to flip the board. Nobody is going to come to a match that is forfeit. There's no match. You can't have a league if people refuse to play. All the women in women's sports need to simply refuse to play and shut out the league. That might not be an easy consequence free decision to make but it's the only decision they have. You either refuse to play with the men now and force the issue with the organizers to either side with the women or the trans women. Or you don't and get squeezed out by the transwomen and the ultimatum comes later when you're in a weaker position as this is normalized. Maybe they choose the trans women now and it destroys women's sports? OK, let it be destroyed. Walk off the court and refuse to play. Get kicked off the team. Whatever. Organizers can't make money from an all trans league. The men joining the women's leagues are only doing it because they want to have an easy win. They aren't going to keep doing it if they actually have to compete against their equals. They'll quit.

There's only one choice and it's to refuse to play. Would you enter into a game of chess where your opponent demands they can make two moves for every one of yours? Or do you flip the board and end the game, and make them pick up the pieces when they decide to play by the rules again?

...you know, one day a team of women is going to have to bite the bullet and agree to face this team, or it's going to accelerate the end of women's sports.

If SJSU keeps getting to have teams forfeit over this, by this time next year every women's team is going to recruit a trans woman so that they get all the other teams to forfeit and they go undefeated- and then two, then three, then all-trans teams, and pretty soon the second line of players too shitty to make a men's college team will be told to claim they're non-binary so they can play on the women's team.

Fake doesn't necessarily mean "fake" or satirical.

Can be a real study that accomplishes nothing useful. Think frivolity disguised. I think most of academia opperares this way. You find the sacred cow you can't criticize, LGBTQ stuff fits nicely at the moment, and then you think about some LGBTQ topic that nobody is studying, bad example since it's obvious but "The effects of climate change on queer trans basketweavers" nobody is studying this because nobody gives a fuck, there's basically no queer trans basketweavers, we all know that, but academic culture isn't one that goes well with scoffing against research ideas because it does stifle the few good ideas people have that go against the grain and everyone thinks are stupid, (unsurprisingly this standard isn't fairly applied and most science worth doing happens in spite of academic resistance) but when you couple it with the social taboo against commenting on LGBTQ issues because you'll be labeled a homophobe, you just create the environment for what is essentially a form of money laundering. I create a topic that doesn't exist before I create it. I then research the non-existant topic that didn't exist before yesterday by going out and finding the material I need that has of course always existed, queer basket weavers obviously do exist and nobody cared until me because homophobia or something, which is why nobody bothered to research them before, so I go do the research , tie it up in a nice bow of academic procedure and response, and come to a conclusion that is entirely immaterial to anything or anyone, all the while collecting a salary and getting passed along by the others who collect salaries because as soon as some one points out the Emperor has no clothes then everyone loses their jobs. Which is also why for such fringe topics you'll get piled on most violently by those who are interested in maintaining the grift.
