It's not a good idea to place into positions of influence (at least on complex issues) those who're obviously stupid, who're congenitally unable (no matter how heartbreakingly hard they might try) to rise about a certain level of comprehension.

Nor is it a good idea, of course, to place the mentally ill (e.g. men who think they're women) into positions of power.

Doing so almost seems designed to destroy Democracy and the rule of reason ... perhaps in order to replace it with an oligarchy, a corrupt cabal/priesthood, ruling through some chosen, sanctioned and unquestionable ... 'experts'.
