I'd admit to being somewhat but not overly concerned. One reason is that I think am right, rather than being absolutely sure I am right, the other is that even if I was right, I would still have a selfish interest in my own child, even if this was at odds with the interest of the greater good

I think you are making some fine points. What I do disagree with is the implicit conclusion that since it might have some degree of an eugenic effect, then this cultural condition itself is not negative or at least that it shouldn't be opposed to due to it's silver linings. The best way to attract new users is for all of the existing users to regularly mention Saidit on other sites they visit. On some sites the Saidit URL might be shadowbanned so just mentioning the Saidit name without giving the URL might work better.
