If something is rare because it happens to 1% of the population, but you administered it to the entire population, it becomes very not fucking rare for that 1%. If you are the 1% then you deserve answers as to why the fuck it was pushed on people without testing, when they knew some of the risks and didn't tell anyone.

Before 2020 it was widely accepted that the flu vaccine was shit, and generally anyone who had the flu vaccine just got sick. I sat back and watched the same suckers take the flu vaccine every year and they always get sick while i never did. The UK government had even rolled back on the advice to give flu vaccines to the elderly due to it being more likely to affect their lower immune system than help it. Come "covid" and you see the same trend every 6 months. Every time the booster shots were given out a "new varient" appeared around the same time to justify it being needed. It was obviously the shots causing the "variants", because there never was a virus.

Murder of woman, Blanca C., 28, who 'was beaten and strangled to death by 17-year-old Mohamed Ali S. after laughing at him during sex' was filmed by her alleged killer, court hears by carn0ld03 in Crime

Blanca C., 28, met Mohamed Ali S., 17, in a bar in German city Frankfurt on October 3 last year, where the pair consumed a few drinks and drugs together, according to prosecutor Constanze Jung.

'Then they left [the bar] to go to her flat and wanted to have consensual sex,' Jung told German tabloid Bild.

But when Mohamed reportedly failed to get an erection, Blanca laughed at him for it.

This enraged the Tunisian teenager who 'hit her, choked her and throttled her' in a violent frenzy until she died, Jung said.

The defendant allegedly filmed part of the attack on his phone. As he angled the camera at Blanca's body, he boasted: 'I killed her', according to the prosecution.

Too bad this thing does not have a 3.5 mm audio output, because it would be useful for so many projects besides consuming streamed music from the music cartels... like e.g. connecting your old hi-fi stereo that doesn't have bluetooth or wifi to your PC from across the house and then pumping through your own music locally. Sure any cheap POS android phone can do this, but they have batteries that will wear out, swell, and maybe explode if left plugged in for years, this doesn't have a battery, making it superior for such a use.

Ah well, that's another 5 tons of potentially reusable e-waste in the ground because the recording industry really doesn't want you to have an analog audio output for obvious reasons.

A deputy commander from the Ukrainian Army 92nd Assault Brigade’s drone battalion was among the sources to observe: “We’re losing the electronic warfare fight… One day before the attacks, it just shut down. It became super, super slow.” “We needed to be to be fast in communicating,” another drone operator said, lamenting that the loss of Starlink connectivity “made everything more complicated” and “time consuming.” The New York Times concluded that if disruption of Starlink by Russian forces“continue to succeed, it could mark a tactical shift in the conflict, highlighting Ukraine’s vulnerability and dependence on the service provided by Mr. Musk’s company.” This also raised “broader questions about Starlink’s reliability against a technically sophisticated adversary.” With the Russian Armed Forces cooperating closely with China, North Korea and other Western Bloc adversaries, it is expected that this valuable knowhow will be proliferated.

It's interesting that Western propaganda is now forced to acknowledge the reality of war.

Remember the news stories from Chicongo last winter about teslas that wouldn’t charge in the cold?

I’m in Montana where the winter temperatures have briefly fallen to -40F the last two winters. I’ve already figured out that I would need a gas and an electric vehicle, or just a plug in hybrid to have reliable transportation in this climate.

Those battery pickup trucks can’t haul a cattle trailer to market. Or tow anything except for short distances.

But our wonderful government has pledged to require all electric by 2035. Another reason we need Trump.

Not the entire cabinet, but there are 100+ Jewish and potentially Zionist staff in the Executive branch, unfortunately, enough to signifcantly influence the branch. And this has cost Biden at least 10 or 20 percentage points in the polls since the start of the Gaza genocide. Though Biden has challenged the Israel government numerous times, the general public seemingly hasn't seen these challenges. Something we should remember is that Trump's crime family were the worst Zionists in office (numerous examples) and would be much worse if elected.

Suspicions with Politico aside, I have great difficulty accepting the premise that the DNC wasn't well aware of what they were getting with Biden from the get-go.

It isn't as though he was particularly in touch with his faculties in 2020... remember, he was largely kept out of sight during the campaign. I don't doubt that there'd be concern if he were actually intended to be on the ballot in November (and he may well be) but in light of how media likes to coordinate with the political establishment in manipulating how we see things- this could be scripted to look like a contingency.

They should be fairly aware that a lot of people have been successfully conditioned to hate the big, bad orange man and will not vote for him. An eleventh hour switch to Gavin Newsome could be in the works.

The again, a dark horse might emerge in the form of Mitt Romney; coming out as trans-progressive and switching parties. The leftist radicals could reward his come to Jesus® moment with the nomination.

New businesses are building a digital marketing funnel in this digital age; it is not just a matter of luck and hope how traffic generates a loyal following. It must be a structured approach, and that is where building a digital marketing funnel comes into play. In concept, a digital marketing funnel is a customer journey. A fraught path that directs potential customers from being unaware of your brand to paying customers. Then, after some time, a brand advocate is. The goal is to draw attention, create trust, and subtly encourage the clients to take action. It includes what to purchase, signing up for a newsletter, and downloading an e-book. A digital marketing funnel can benefit; Suppose you haven’t spoken about the marketing funnel before.

We don't know the story because you've not linked to an article. I won't listen to that dude ramble on about something I've not read.

But you bring up something that's a serious problem in the broader context.

1) Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch and others claim that Germany is not doing enough to combat hate crimes (search: germany hate crime prosecutions).

2) German laws against hate crimes have resulted in numerous fines and a few jail sentences for those who merely put the information on social media like Facebook. (search the words noted above, which finds one example: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/23/technology/germany-internet-speech-arrest.html )

3) Both 1 and 2 are serious problems. I don't want to defend the approaches in Germany (not at all), but I also think something must be done to combat legitimate hate crimes.

Covid damages the heart

This is repeated a lot on Saidit, but we've not seen sufficient evidence of this in the medical research, which is ongoing. I would agree that this should be studied, but would not agree that it's necessarily a result of COVID or the vaccine. Yes, there are a few dozen cases where there were problems with the heart, but we don't know about pre-existing conditions, and this few dozen this is a sampling from 6 billion people who've had the vaccine. We obviously need better information. One could argue perhaps that the medical science community is not working hard enough to examine this problem, because the information about it is still rare. There are side-effects and pre-existing problems in all medical cases, for all diseases and treatments. We don't know exactly what has caused problems with the heart in many of those few dozen claims about the vaccine, but I'd agree that we should get better information from the medical science community.

There are studies of much larger populations that show decreases in excess mortality with vaccination.

My first thought is that this is confounded by covid infection, which is related to an increase in cardiopulmonary arrest in the following years.

We'll see what this paper looks like after peer review. I notice there is one comment for the paper on preprints.org:

(And I quote here:)

There are some significant issues with this preprint.

1) Estimating the 2023 cardiopulmonary arrest rate is problematic because the excess deaths in the United States have declined in 2023. Given there are only 3 points used in the regression analysis, if the estimation is incorrect, it completely invalidates the analysis.

2) They do not account for COVID-19 deaths. In 2021, the Kings County data shows that 1020 out of 1276 excess deaths (80%) were related to COVID-19 infection. This is a significant confounder to consider in such an analysis.

3) Such an analysis cannot demonstrate causation, and causal language is used in this analysis.

4) There are extensive large population studies demonstrating no increase in cardiac arrests with COVID-19 vaccination that they do not cite. They should also address this literature if they present findings countering this body of evidence especially given their methods are based on correlation and do not directly assess the vaccination status of those that experienced cardiopulmonary arrest making this study much weaker than the other studies.

A thorough, thoughtful response, which I'd think others would appreciate on Saidit. On the Reddit/Saidit type of social media, it seems that many users are influenced by recent decade of trends to fill the social sphere (if I can call it that: MSM, FB, X, reddit, youtube, churches, military, &c), with a flood of misinformation - a gish gallop - that some of that has effectively trickled down into various sectors of the social sphere. Highly paid influencer networks, websites &c have done much of this. We know this, but I also think I'm seeing a tendency of some users to respond with a kind of trolling comment, repeating soundbytes of the flood of misinformation, almost as if engaging in a video game of retorts. An earlier trend for this might be news media's uses of soundbytes in the 1980s, which then spread to the social sphere. Thus anyone speaking to the news media had to think of the potential soundbytes that would be extrapolated from the general comments. That of course continues today, including a lot of misinformation. For example, the wrong think/right think arguments are relatively new. I've seen those arguments used by those who claim to favor 'free speech' online, while also wanting to demonize and dismiss anything that seems to be 'woke' or progressive. There are probably good arguments about the abuse of this problem on the 'left', but I've not seen them. Anyhow, just thinking out loud this morning.....

Apparently there are "studies" that transgenders don't have an advantage over women in sports, and may even be... at a disadvantage?? by stoptheearth in TumblrInAction

[–]Alienhunter 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It's all about going into the fringes and finding the "wel nuh uh actually" shit.

Everyone knows males are physically stronger than females, so males will generally have an advantage in any sport where physical strength grants an advantage.

Are there exceptions to that? Sure I think so. Like gymnastics where flexibility is more important than strength, might be that specific case where trans-women are not at an advantage.

Or perhaps we go for some other sport that doesn't require much in the way of physical strength like chess. (Though that does give the curious result of course that men still dominate the rankings for some reason, I've long considered a theory where it is more likely for men to dedicate large amounts of time and energy to master something basically inconsequential to life, where women generally have some ingrained aversion to activities they don't see as practical, I also claim that the general stereotype of women disliking gambling to come from a similar position)
