A.

May I ask where are you so far?

This one is a pure dynamic method. It's harder to use a still picture or still sketch than text to explain a complicated dynamic method.

I am quiet okay in Maya, but I don't have it.

I know nothing about Blender.

So, the most reasonable and the best way to help you is what do you know so far? And where didi you stuck?

B.

The calculation is way beyond my capability. And the calculation is the only right path for this kind of method. I believe physics and pencils and papers should be the very next step right after the idea.

My point is, before you jump in and build it and test it and brain storm to improve it or achive it or deny it, please calculate it, discuss it, conclude it. That's why I'm here.

So, again, let me help you while I'm capable, where did you stuck?

C.

Whether anyone like it or casted it aside is not my concern. I had said this for several times already, I had done my part when I had shared it.

And soon enough I will stop coming by.

You gotta use childish abstractions and cartoons to maintain the illusion of gender identity. Once you graduate from unrealistic forms to photographic depictions of trans people the difference is fairly obvious in most cases. It's basically why trans circles are so rife with anime content. It's not so much that anime content is trans in nature (though the differing cultural standards from a society with a more open and matter of fact approach to sex, and stricter gender rolls than the west, do tend to have fictional depictions that cross what in the west would be considered taboo and age inappropriate, most is innocent in the same sense that, bugs bunny crossdressing to trick Elmer Fudd is a joke not meant to be taken seriously) it's more that the anime girl phenomenon represents a largely male idealization of the female form, and naturally that's the idealized fictional identity that is adopted as being unrealistic and exaggerated allows for the illusion to be maintained in online spaces whereas photo realistic depictions quickly betray the birth gender of the person in question in most circumstances. A similar phenomenon exists with women as well in the form of Yaoi popularization where women create these strange idealized male forms from a female perspective that aren't at all indicative of actual male relationships.

For the most part the best thing to do is keep your children away from unrestricted and unsupervised internet access. You can't stop them completely but merely slowing their access and asking what are you doing will oftentimes be enough to either cause them to desist from problematic internet usage or allow you to identify what they are struggling with before they can be influenced by creepy strangers online. Smartphones are probably ok to let your kids use only if you are clear that nothing they do on the phone is private and you can see everything, and then you've got to monitor it. Unless they are willing to pay for the phone bill themselves, that's the condition of use. Teaches them to be careful as in real life you also can't expect your electronic communications to be private by any means.

Martha's vineyard is literally a sanctuary city

You can't honestly be telling me it's acceptable to respond to municipal politics you don't agree with, by dumping humans at an airport for community groups to deal with.

So my mayor doesn't like some Arizona commissioner's politics on XYZ. Are you excusing the firing of human refugee weapons at his county as a suitable method of dealing with it?

This stunt is related to the larger issue of immigration.

Refugees can travel freely and work anywhere in America. They are not a regional burden or a red state burden, they are a human resource

Well now you are bringing up a whole other economic issue. This kind of low skill labor influx tends to hurt lower class workers

Are you kidding me. Have you left the house in the past 2 years? Have you been to literally any town or city in America since 2019? Do you think it's hard to get a "low skill labor" job right now? There are "help wanted" signs everywhere

So youd agree that DC calling a state of emergency over 150 migrants was unjustified too?

Well, what the hell do you know about it? They need to mobilise DC responders and housing support staff and someone to check the incoming flights for more victims and health response and so on. How do you know whether that's a "code yellow" or a "status three" or "a procedural emergency scenario"? Nobody could tell what the appropriate response should be with so little information

Similar to your take, but different:

The US has been stoking the fire. Arms sales to Ukraine, billions of dollars in support. This “proxy” war against Russia dosent feel so proxy.

There were negotiations between Russia and Ukraine that were going to end in peace, the US ended that. This has to to with NATO expansion, and the submission of Russia.

Germany has a soft spot for Russia, and most likely was going to barter with the Russian, side step negotiations. They no longer can do that.

This is a direct escalation.

Remember, the US and the power that be appear to be making ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT and also reducing the human population, we are no longer necessary.

A world war is good to them. Not bad. This is constant escalation which we have seen from the US the whole time.

Combination of a number of factors in Hollywood I think. Busy parents will outsource their childcare to others, generally hedonistic lifestyle and personalities that value theatrics over any real substance, and the overabundance of money and nobody willing to tell you no, all together leads to this sort of stuff happening. Any one of those things by itself isn't really sufficient to give us the messed up Hollywood kids that we see, rich people often use nannies but many don't spoil their kids. Middle class parents often spoil their kids but aren't absent from their lives. Poor parents often are absent but the lack of money keeps the kids from thinking themselves gods.

There's loads of stuff that's bad for kids in general, and there are some Hollywood parents that can do it right but I think that involves a certain rejection of the "Hollywood lifestyle" and treating the acting job as just that, a job. But it takes a rare person for that not to feed their egos to the point of problems.

There's a few faulty premises. The community groups and churches who fed and housed the refugees who had dumped at the airport - what's the association with the left? Why do you think those people have advocated to abolish ICE?

Martha's vineyard is literally a sanctuary city. I didnt say they want to abolish ICE, I said they want to refuse to enforce immigration laws, and I said abolishing ICE was one example of a common idea on the left about how to handle immigration that I don't think addresses the problem

Another faulty premise is that this stunt was connected to ICE or border law in any way - they were refugees and asylees, it's not a statement about ICE. If anything it would be a statement about the international convention on refugees?

This stunt is related to the larger issue of immigration. Whether they have applied for asylum or crossed illegally wasn't really the center of the issue, they want more action to address immigration on the southern border, and this was a stunt to call attention to it. That 2 million crossers number I cited was from a NYT article talking about this, so even they realize what this stunt was about.

Another faulty premise is that Texas and the border states have to bare the cost of what is actually a federal burden...or that border states don't benefit from all the people moving to it for work - whether as a refugee or from anywhere.

Well now you are bringing up a whole other economic issue. This kind of low skill labor influx tends to hurt lower class workers and benefit the capital owners that hire them. You may be able to measure a gain in GDP, but this isn't as clear cut of a 'benefit' as you make it out to be.

What is this "state of the border" which we're suffering so much under to excuse what happened to those poor people.

I'm not saying using these people as props fora a stunt was justified, I'm saying they are justified in calling immigration a real problem

I live in Texas. I can tell you that there is no emergency here.

Since the Nord stream runs from Russia to Germany, it seems to me if the Russians wanted to stop the flow and use it as a bargaining chip they could simply close it off on their end, no sabotage or destruction required. So it makes little sense that they were behind this apparent sabotage as the lack of a usable pipeline considerably weakens their bargaining position. So whomever it was I is reasonable to assume they are against the Russian side.

Oh that explains the influx. Glad to meet you. I think I came over at the very beginning when mangora7 started the place. He was an interesting chap worth following on a lot of the fringe spots I frequented. Lurked occasionally until his seeds took root.

There are a couple of annoying shill accounts here that ride the line, infuriating people to try to pull a ban and manipulate, but if you use the block button its a nice place. I tend to not use the block button because I seem to enjoy tilting at windmills.

You remember wrong, as I was posting a lot back then - daily. Unless it was during a period where M7 alienated me (and others), and I pulled back for a while.

Yes the front page was slower.

And yes, there were less folks to converse with, but it was never the ghost town you make it sound like.

Oddly enough the votes have been consistently about the same (besides the vote-tampering periods) - 10 for a good post, 20 great, 30 exceptional, more was rare. I'm not sure why.

Because right here in the storyline, you'd like everyone to open up their houses indefinitely and for that to be the permanent plan. In fact, you'd consider it hypocrisy for them NOT to indefinitely open their doors forever to families with complicated statuses.

After all! You insist. After all! Everyone in Texas has to permanently shelter refugees in their homes. Every Texan has a refugee in their back room, forever.

I don't think you are understanding my position here. It is obviously unreasonable to expect the people to house them in their homes. I don't blame them for shipping them out, I blame them for shipping them out while at the same time espousing ignoring immigration laws

What I am saying is I want my own side to acknowledge that there is a real immigration problem, and abolishing ICE or refusing to enforce immigration laws isn't a solution to it.

I don't want anywhere to be like Texas, that isn't at all what I'm saying. I'm not a republican, but they do have a point about the failure of the left to address the immigration issue in any meaningful way, and I can see why people who live their might be upset at the state of the border

I understand now and think you also qualify as retarded just like chipit

Seriously? Just disagreeing with you warrants insults and name calling? And not even over anything I said, but words you put in my mouth. I was quite civil in my attempt to discuss the issues. It's you who are acting like Chipit. I honestly thought you were better than this, or I wouldn't have bothered attempting to discuss anything with you. You can add me to the long list of people who don't want to engage with you.

Ok here is the real world timeline we live in. Follow along the timeline with me

  • Refugees arrive to America who are fleeing violence, and they are allowed to enter legally under the law as legal immigrants

  • Someone hands out leaflets offering a job and house in Boston, talks about how nice Boston is, and walks over to refugee women with children to push the leaflet and ask if they want a free flight

  • The women and children board their flight and arrive, but it's not the big city, and instead of anyone waiting for them, it's just the right-wing press. It was a trick, they were trafficked, welcome to Martha's Vineyard folks

  • The MV residents discover via the right-wing press that these people have been dumped nearby and provide temporary food, shelter, clothing, toiletries, baby and feminine supplies, and so on.

  • Because these are refugees they don't have driver's licenses or bank accounts or credit cards or English language skills or jobs lined up or family nearby or much idea of their rights, nor do they have dinner plans or a place to stay tonight.

  • With the emergency dealt with, thanks to the generous churches and community groups, it's now time to come up with permanent plans for the trafficked group

Here's where history diverges.

In the real world storyline, they got housed in a public facility with a bunch of sleeping areas, and the refugees got lawyers and representations and it's going to be okay for them. But you're really mad that history turned out this way. You wanted it to be like Texas, where everyone has a migrant in their home forever. I understand now and think you also qualify as retarded just like chipit

Yes, Chipit suffers from crippling retardation, but I think there is a point to be made here that he is struggling to express.

Martha's vineyard did charitably feed those refugees, but they removed all of them in less than 24 hours.

You have a very wealthy enclave that literally has a policy in place to ignore immigration laws, and promotes open border policies, but when just 50 people end up in their community, they did the same thing that Texas and Florida did, they shipped them out and claimed they couldn't support them in their community.

The liberal coastal elites have very unrealistic head-in-the-sand ideas about immigration, often in areas they don't have to deal with any of the consequences of it, and this political ploy successfully exposed how hollow that rhetoric is. More than 2 million people have crossed the southern border just this year, just the ones that have been counted, and the burden of this all falls in one region of the country, while the other regions criticize them for trying to address it, but declare emergencies over 50 migrants in Marthas Vineyard, or 150 migrants in Washington DC, a city of millions. If these are 'emergencies' then what would you call the situation in border cities in Texas that are literally flooding with illegal immigrants?

Now I do think this immigration problem is largely the results of 40 years of drug wars, coups, embargos and other destabilization tactics by our government, but this is still a real problem affecting Americans and it is foolish to ignore it. Biden railed against the inhumanity of Trumps border policy, while largely leaving it unchanged while entering office, we clearly need comprehensive reform on this issue, and while I consider myself a liberal, the left does not have an answer for this problem
