I don't really feel like rewriting my message, but I do want to get this out quickly, because every side of the politics around this feel… wrong?
Maybe I was only censored because it was fairly off-topic, as a response to a censored, semi-off-topic post. Regardless of its censorship status, though, I feel like this message needs to be heard, because there is too much division around the world right now.
This is the comment I posted yesterday (edit: as of a few days ago. Saidit was down when I tried to post it before), and which was removed without notification:
Why is BLM getting so much support, yet so many other causes get barely any support at all? I wish people could also be this energetic about Hong Kong, or copyright reform, or climate change, or helping LGBTQ people in countries where people are still stoned for being gay, or reducing wealth inequality in general, maybe helping people be less beholden to rent seekers, or helping people be liberated from exploitive technology like planned obsolete smartphones with locked bootloaders, or boycotting China, or stopping all the terrible immigrant detainment camps in the US, or US election reform… etc, etc, etc.
Like, seriously, why can't people be this pesky about other issues? Especially climate change, the massive disaster that is slowly hitting everyone on Earth and could have disastrous consequences? There's not much I can do about police brutality other than to vote bad police chiefs out of office, but I can see plenty more ways I may be able to help mitigate climate change, and many people can do even more.
What is it about this issue that gets so much attention compared to other worthy ones?
And forget how it improves Minecraft; how does this message even help BLM? What is one supposed to do if one sees this message, other than be annoyed? Isn't there a possibility it push people like OP to be more against it, pushing this agenda in a place they see as an unrelated context?
And who decided to turn AllLivesMatter into a dog whistle, anyway? How are people supposed to reconcile their opinions when the name BlackLivesMatter make people unfamiliar with the movement think it only cares about black lives, then AllLivesMatter suddenly only cares about white lives? Can't there be a movement that cares about all lives, including black, latin american, white, asian, LGBTQAI+, straight, poor, non-human, etc, without devolving into either only caring about one, or only appearing to care about one? Can't people at least try to get along with all sides of these?
I hate the politics around this issue. All I can say, is that many places need heavy police reform, and hiring should ideally be done blind to race, sex, and anything else that could make HR biased, perhaps by doing it over text, online, when possible. And we need to fix all the other issues to, especially climate change, which should be something that we pretty obviously need to fix regardless of your political stance, at least if you are seeing anywhere close to the same reality as I do.
I feel like we're in a psy-op designed to divide and conquer the US around this. Is this reality, or just wild speculation? I do not know. But if I were to wildly speculate, I would say all the divisiveness around this is a psy-op to make the US as divided as possible and collapse from the inside.

For anyone wondering what the original image of the post was, here is my cached version from RedReader: https://happysmash27.me/Upload/Mirror/i.redd.it/vf0690sy81451.jpg
For anyone wondering what the other removed comment under "Yeah thats the thing, people are getting killed…", it was the following:
When playing minecraft I want to be playing minecraft, politics has nothing to do with it. George Floyd death is tragic but dozens of other things like that are happening in the world and I don't want it to be brought up when playing a block game.
Strange that the other similar comment didn't get censored as well.
The part of my message that I believe is most important is that we must take back #AllLivesMatter. We cannot let it just care about white lives. We need a hashtag to rally around that actually, really supports all lives, black, latin american, white, asian, LGBTQAI+, straight, poor, non-human, etc. Not just one type! With this, we can assure we have a movement that both sounds well-meaning, and really is well-meaning, that people can rally around regardless of race, class, etc, one that can end discrimination and police brutality, while having the good optics to be supported by everyone. The Right thinks #BlackLivesMatter only cares about black lives. The Left thinks #AllLivesMatter only cares about white lives. We cannot let such a divisive paradigm continue to occur. We must change this.
We must end police brutality, and we must do so together.
